I'm sure whatever you paid for the game is worth getting jinxed in that fashion.

I tend to have trouble finding work in the US because I'm overqualified for the jobs where I have sufficient experience, but lack sufficient experience for the jobs where I'm not overqualified for. So the application management systems won't even let me be seen by anybody that's actually able to hire me.

OTOH, overseas things seem to be a tad less completely insane.

Oh i dont doubt it will be worth the price (cant remember what the price was without logging into ranger centre) but it will just be a bit frustrating,

Wasteland 2 i have an unusually high expectation of, I will be gutted if it lets me down.

What I meant was the superstition that things pop up to block things you want. So, getting a job preventing you from playing the game very much on arrival. Whereas receiving it a month ago would probably have allowed you to play your brains out before the new job.

So back on topic, whats happening with this?. internal beta test i thought but it seems to be mentioned a handful of externals go to beta test it?

As far as I know a selected small group are currently beta testing, a full beta test to all eligible backers is coming "soon" once it has a bit more polish and a few things flagged up during the current small beta are fixed.

Hopefully Bro will drop by and give a bit more info though

New update. Bad news: the Wasteland 2 beta needs some more time and work. Good news: Wasteland 1 does not, and it'll be arriving on GOG soon.

Such mixed feelings about this. Great that the first is ready but sad that the new one is delayed.

Don't suppose anyone knows if the updated version still runs under DOS/DOSbox? It'd be nice to be able to put it on my Android tablet.

I am actually dreading all these kickstarters being released. None of the games I have backed yet have been released and its looking like Wasteland 2, Broken Sword and Broken Age at least are coming very soon.

I suspect there are a number of others that are on their way soon as well.

With summer coming, I don't know when I am going to have the time to play any of them...

My backlog has been hovering around 20 games for some time now. I would love to get it to single figures, then maybe down to just a couple.... Maybe this time next year I will be there...
