The graphics are everything I wanted, honestly. They're as beautifully evocative of a post-apocalyptic landscape as those in the first 2 Fallout games, only smoother and more modern. The developers are really nailing the right aesthetic so far. Every new video makes me more and more excited for the beta.
Oh man, they changed the bullet glass combat start transition to this blur zoom in combat start transition which is even more annoying.

Other than that, I love everything.

I have nothing bad to say about the graphics. At least it isn't in the FPS or over the shoulder camera angle BS (thank you NWN for bringing that shit to RPGs). I miss the good old RPG overhead look.
I'm now officially a late backer, people (well, not really, since they only got my money and I still need my login info :D)!
Will now proceed to watch the new gameplay video.

....and I'm considering late-backing Project Eternity too, if it's possible (though I think I lack the money, even if I wanted to xD).

I'm glad it looks to be meeting most of my expectations, really looking forward to it.

Still not sold on the dialog system though, it seems like a "worst of both worlds" thing to me. The advantage of a keyword system is that it allows a lot of roleplaying because you can imagine your guys saying pretty much whatever. The advantage of full sentences ala Fallout is that it allows a lot of specificity and reactivity. By combining those though, you're basically left with a single generic dialog response for each option, which means you don't really have the advantages of either system. Just my impressions so far though, and we really haven't seen much of it. I'd like them to show some examples of dialog puzzles, or opportunities to act different ways in dialog to people, or something.

EDIT: Hope there's a battle speed setting. Those dogs move slowly, could be annoying if they're a common encounter.

Yeah, it's like coming from that old jRPGs when every battle had the same opening and it was annoying as hell.
Let's hope that would be optional.

This I can whole heartedly agree with. One of my pet peeves with jRPGs was that they would often have those annoying random fights, and then bog things down with repetitive animations.

Yup, reminds me of the old FFs. I like FFs but that is one bad thing about it.


Not sure how hard it is to make, but having the sniper stand on the elevated ground overlooking the camp without a crouching stance like in JA2 or the original X-COM is like "Hey, look at me, I'm standing high up where everyone can see me, shoot me!" But having elevated shooting bonuses off terrain is great.

No morality compass is another great idea...If I want to kill the dying woman, I should be able to do it without someone from a town over somehow knowing I killed her.

Thankfully I'll be able to turn off that grid. I know that will drive me bonkers in a game like this.

So, I take it from the demo I will get to create 4 characters with an option to add 3 NPCs. I wonder if this will be a standard stat based creation process, or more of a name x character and decide how you want him to look.

I initially backed with 25$ a few months ago and 2 weeks ago donated another 30$ through the ranger center but the donation is not showing on my account there, it should show after 1 week, but 2 and still nothing is a little worrying.

I suppose i should also contact inxile and ask them if they can shed some light on this.

Takes awhile. They update manually on Mondays and it's normally only done by one person and he's one of the game programmers so he's extremely busy. Maybe drop Brother None a shoutout either here or:
