Just bought 2 games from GOG. Had to DL GOG GALAXY. My new games are not showing up in GOG GALAXY. It has been 3 hours. What gives?

Not sure what you mean, because you do not have to use Galaxy.
Forget about Galaxy. Just download the offline backup installers for the platform which is appropriate or nearest applicable to you (Wuppo doesn't have a Linux installer here, frustratingly enough) and install them like the good ole days.
Go here ---> https://www.gog.com/account using your favourite web browser and click a game you are interested in downloading. Then scroll to the words "DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS" and click them, which will expand to reveal the downloadable files for the selected game. You can do this for all the games you own in your account/library, with no need to install Galaxy...

If you'd rather download offline installers with a web browser, see the second half of How do I download my purchased items?

Have you tried restarting it? Click the cogwheel in the top left and choose Exit. Then launch it again.
