phaolo: Again the Death Star?
This is not news. It's been known for a long time that Rogue One would be about the mission to steal the plans for the original Death Star prior to Episode IV: A New Hope.

Elmofongo: The Prequals are better then this movie........if you remove Episode 1 and combine Episodes 2 and 3 [..]
I agree, but I thought that you liked SW7, for some reason. O_o

It's news for me, obviously.
I didn't follow anything about the sequel.. err.. prequel.

Elmofongo: Did you even Watched the 2003 animated series?
avatar
GR00T: Does it matter? You realize you completely destroyed your assertion that the prequels were better than Force Awakens when you had to throw in an animated series and remove episode 1.
80% of EpI is Liam Neeson being awesome before becoming a trend. So no need to remove it imho.

Didn't bother to see vii, hate having old heroes derailed that much. Learned the lesson way back by Alien 3. This one however I feel curious about. Mostly because it is about the first DS, I lost count how many times rebels stole the plans of the second.
Am I the only one who thinks Forest Whitaker's delivery is kind of hilarious? Especially that last line.

WHAT. WILL. YOU! ... ... ... become.
Very cool idea for a SW film. Yet somehow I don't find myself excited for it. I think what I need is a big budget totally badass infused 40K film directed by Ridley Scott or Zack Snyder.

Vitek: With all those aliens and interspecies is it first time there is asian person in SW movie?
And of course it has to be some kind of samurai.
Looked like Donnie Yen. Could be cool.
Star Wars: Episode VIII, A Few Hopes aka SJW8

Sorry, I had to make those play of words. XD
Please, avoid the bait, it's just for the looks.

I haven't seen the force awakens and had no interest in this one either. That's until I saw Donnie Yen in it. There may be a New Hope. :>

Elmofongo: ... like our Main Female Protagnist somehow succeeded in a Jedi Mind Trick...
That was soooo stupid. As was the fight with Ren at the end. I mean, where did she learn to fight with a lightsaber? "But we already saw she was good at fighting with here staff earlier..." yes, staff. It's entirely different to fight with a quaterstaff than a sword.

And she sure as heck doesn't look like a Bothan to me...
nvm: wrong death star plans. XD
Yearly Starwars gogogogo!
I'm gonna go see it! :D

Darth Idiot (keeping my nickname for Jacen in later books) mentioned she could learn the Force, and she made a pause and distributed the attribute points left from character creation.

More seriously, either she´s Jedi Jason Bourne or the Mary Sue trope name should be changed to hers.
Haven't seen it. Just gonna take out the old crystal ball and do some predictions.

Strong female lead?
Wise all-powerful black or Asian jedi/leader who dispenses great knowledge about... something.
Death Star 7.1.
Traditional John Williams Star Wars tunes that tries to evoke emotion and energy that died out 25 years ago.
Fast smash cuts used in order to keep boredom from setting in with the 7-21 demographic.
Oh, and big explosion, title appearance... release date... fade out...

How'd I do?

Still not nearly as predictable as your "did not see, know it sukz" trolling. You need a new thing to troll about. Maybe something about fashion? Or food? I don't know, something. There is a lot of competition in trolling on this forum of late. You need to branch out.
