Emob78: There's also Starbound, Interstellaria, and Astrobase Command. And guess what? All of them on Steam early access only. Come on, GOG, give us some more space adventure fun!
Starbound yes (it will be drm free on final release allegdedly), other two isnt Interstellaria a multiplayer only game? Pass on Astrobase.
Ooh, space game! Vote first, ask questions later.

Emob78:
Like Maia! Which is DRM-free as per game's website. WHY IS NOT HERE, GOG!?

I'm not sure about Interstellaria. I think it will have a single player component.

I also forgot to add Space Engineers, Rodina, and the soon to be released No man's sky. And I'm sure there's plenty more being forgotten on the space game list.
I've been trying to buy Starsector but BMT Micro is acting up. The game is in development but looks interesting...

This is more for my own purposes rather than being GOG related :) I just want an open world space trading game with the possibility of doing combat missions...

Starsector is the type of game I would love to see available on GOG :)
I would really enjoy and open world space trading game too, combat is not so important for me though

Your goal is clear: setup a space settlement and thrive. Whether you choose to make allies or conquer through supremacy is up to you.
Only downside so far is the price of currently $50.

Shallow Space ( - I've found out about this game thanks to [url=http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2014/07/17/fleet-battles-and-friendly-ai-shallow-space/]RPS).

Shallow Space is a 3D Real Time Strategy game inspired by Nexus: The Jupiter incident and Homeworld. Guide a set of capital ships through a complex and intriguing scenario, using resources to advance weaponry and skills. Mine those resources to ensure your fleet remains prepared as you advance through the detailed narrative. Manage power distribution, damage and training on your flagships while at the same time producing smaller ships like cruisers, frigates, corvettes and fighter drones to compliment your fleet and prepare the front lines for what is about to become very shallow space.

It will not have planetary landings initially, AFAIK. That kind of made me sad.

True but thats coming in the first expansion.

The game will have 400 billion star systems to explore, I think that'll keep you busy until the expansion hits ;)

I'll wait for the expansion then. Manually landing on planets that I travelled to from several AU was one of the great highlight of the Frontier games for me.
Another vote for Ceres here. Adore Homeworld, more in that vein is very welcome!

Meanwhile, I'm wondering if there is ever going to be any new progress on Homeworld: Shipbreakers.
