Stuck on Titan

P·O·L·L·E·N, an atmospheric mystery game where you explore an impressively detailed space station, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 10% launch discount.

An employee has gone missing and you are sent to investigate the research facility atop Saturn's moon Titan, where they were stationed. You were chosen for your mechanical skills but what awaits there will test not only your professional expertise and keen eye but also your willpower. There are things hidden beneath Titan's surface that might need more than one playthrough to get fully exposed but don't let that stop you from exploring the detailed environment, manipulating the numerous objects scattered about (with or without the help of your VR hardware), and striving to piece together the many mysteries of Station M. Even those that shouldn't be uncovered.

Search every nook and cranny of a mysterious moon base in P·O·L·L·E·N, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% launch discount will last until April 27, 07:59 AM UTC.

paladin181: My allergies are bad enough. At least now I know who to blame. Thanks GOG.
EDIT: looks like another game that you barely play... Sigh. Why are there so many "exploration and nothing else" games out there? I can do that in my everyday life by choosing to get off the train at the wrong station.
I doubt that any train station would give you space station or alien planet to explore, unless you live in very weird neighborhood.

You can always go play something else, you know.

is it that bad in London?
never been there but i have heard stories from people and also read some articles on the internet that there are 'parts' that might fit 'the weird neighborhood'.

I guess every country has these parts, US seems to be having these parts forever, that is according to all the movies they made, 99% had weird parts and neighborhoods all over the country.

Anyway, i think that wheter there be an Brexit or a stay, things will still go down the drain in every western country for years to come, no matter what they try, thats kinda sad, but its our own fault, well not the people's fault (or maybe aswell cause the people voted for the wrong people)
but their 'governors; fault, they messed up, and the people will take the fall cause the big boys (the government people) will always be safe.
J.U.L.I.A. turned out so well that I'm really tempted. Is the SSD recommendation mainly for use with VR equipment?
What's with all the points between the letters? P·O·L·L·E·N? No one using the search function will ever find this game. It's even worse than S.T.A.L.K.E.R., which is at least using characters I can find on my keyboard. Oh well.

Okay, it looks really good, but I still have SOMA, Stasis, and JULIA to play. So onto the wishlist it goes.

Oh, and the gamecard mentions RAMA, in a context that sounds like they are the ones who build the lunar bases. Clearly a reference to the other classic by Clarke.

Which Sierra turned into a game way back in the mid-90s.

It was a game even earlier in 1984 from the Trillium (later Telarium) company, who specialised in a line of Infocom-with-graphic style adventures based on sci-fi and fantasy novels (including the first Amber book and Fahrenheit 451). I had a copy of this Rama game myself.
Great release and right up my alley - i love space exploration and nearly everything for that matter. Unfortunately I'll have to wait since my finances are somewhat limited right now (for the same reason I missed the JULIA when it was discounted) but eventually I'll get them both.
I will wait for the reviews...
This game bears a kind of similar resemblance to Julia, just going by the screen grabs. I've decided to get it wish-listed on mine.
This game looks pretty cool. Going to see if favorable reviews come out first to be sure.

micktiegs_8: Hmmm SSD recommendation... I must be the only person to not have an SSD, since I'm the only one mentioning it, haha!
You are definitely not. :)

Is this the new transliteration of "beware of the loading times"? :P
