Just noticed the Cranks and Goggles (Wishlist entry - Do not forget to vote if interested of just to show the support for more sport games on GOG) is close to being released.

It's a racing game (not enough here), it does not contain constructor licences (so prone to be DRM-Free) and it seems like a good mix between the arcade racers of old and more modern racing games.

More details can be found at http://cranksandgoggles.com/.

Edit: fixed the link.

I agree, more racing games are needed here! The trailer of Cranks and Goggles is really hilarious, I like it. And it runs on Linux so it got my vote. :)
I was getting ready to bitch about GOG's notorious lack of racers last night when I decided to check out Steam.

They have about 200, and ALL OF THEM ARE TOTAL SHIT! :P

So while GOG has very view, at least the one's they have are halfway good.

Seriously, does GOG really need "Retro Parking" or "Dog Sled Saga"? XD

Sonic and all stars racing transformed is pretty damn big on steam. The community holds tournaments a lot. If sega supported it more it would be the CSGO of racing games.

Fighting Force!

But back on topic would be nice to get more of the older racers. Like Motorhead, and N.I.C.E 2 (I never played N.I.C.E 1, but 2 was friggin awesome (demo wise.))
Interesting game, but judging by the trailer some adjustments must be made in the physics engine - but who am I to tell.
Nonetheless, voted, this game has the look of GOG.

For racing games, my top one just got released yesterday, so I can't complain.
I just hope that the Need for Speed and Fatal Racing and Stunts and - ok, I'll stop - get released soon.

No, but I'd really like to see Spintires, Assetto Corsa, rFactor 2 on GOG.

edit: also, voted!

Yep. I liked it. Prefered it over the rest of them. Shame the online services for it got axed a few years ago.

Same here. It's probably one of the racing games I had the most fun with...

My biggest problem with rally racers is that all the tracks and cars tend to be almost the same, but I'm guessing from fan reaction this title seems to be the exception to that.

Also, I might be getting it used so it's not DRMs with limited installs is it?

The tracks are pretty much the same, I think you also might get a few reversed tracks. I remember whilst it was fun, also thinking god this is so repedative.

As for the installs I don't think so but i'm not 100% on that as I never owned it on PC (I only had it on Xbox 360.)
Regarding "Cranks & Goggles", I sent an e-mail to the developer to see if they have any plans regarding GOG. I'll keep you informed if I get a reply.

No limited activations on Dirt 1 and 2.
