* Bethesda And Id Might Be Hiring For A New Quake

Good news, and I think it may be "Quake" or "QUAKE" instead of Quake 5/V.
well if it gets as good as Doom (only taking about the Doom Singleplayer though ^^ - the multiplayer is plain awful and i almost didnt buy the game after being totally "disgusted" from the multiplayer beta ^^ ) and this time they deliver a proper multiplayer i'm game ^^
Quake 4 is the perfect FPS. If they make another one they can only go downhill.

No, 60 is the perfect FPS; anything less just isn't smooth enough.

"Quake V locked to 30 fps"
And I bet it'll be infected with Denuvo just like Doom
New Brink when?
Is it bad that I was expecting to read an article about a quake in a country?

I hear 90 is recommended for VR
Sounds like a great idea. I've been enjoying the Quake games again recently.

So if it was 50 FPS or 59 FPS, you would notice?

Does the U.K. have quakes? There must be a fault around there somewhere. If I had them in Missouri you have to have them.

A dip from 60 to 50 MIGHT be noticed, but then again it might not. I'm not really sure the reasons behind it, has to do with frame time or something, I don't really know. But I sometimes do notice a change from 60 to some lesser frame rate, but if there is a steadily maintained 55 or something it's not really noticeable. In my experience anyway.

I do not think that there is a country out there without its earthquakes.

A magnitude 4 earthquake happens in Britain roughly every two years. We experience a magnitude 5 roughly every 10–20 years. Research suggests that the largest possible earthquake in the UK is around 6.5.
Most earthquakes occur on the western side of the British mainland.
Earthquakes are almost completely absent from eastern Scotland and north east England. Similarly, Ireland is almost completely free of earthquakes.
