Did anyone try these Windows only LucasArts releases in Wine?
I've waited for this day for so many years. Even if it were just TIE Fighter and Fate of Atlantis, I would be happy, but 20+ "CLASSIC" titles? Not even Episode 1 shovelware, but more real games on the way? I seriously want to give everyone at GOG a hug. Thank you so much!!
Way to go GoG mates´.

Gotta admit, wasn't expecting this when you announced a new publisher.

Well done.

Kudos

HypersomniacLive: And look at that - we bought the exact same games - funny coincidence, or great minds think alike?
hehe - maybe...but tell me - was twiddling with ScummVM settings to enable Roland MT-32 music was first thing you did after installing Indiana Jones? If yes is the answer - I agree with your statement :-P

I was somehow forced to buy only 2x5.99 games instead 5.99&9.99 as I hit the bottom of my card. Luckily my wife came home few hours later with a pair of new jeans - so I'm safe to recharge my Visa to buy (let me quote her) "yet another game you will never play" :-)
Huzzah! I've been secretly hoping for this day ever since Disney took over from a certain franchise ruiner... Nice to see it finally came! :D

...Although having said that none of these are the specific Lucasarts games I'm after, oh well certainly not gonna complain... Only a matter of time now I assume till we get the rest of the catalogue~

(and I'm sure I'll eventually end up with most of these come a sale anyway... )

You can enjoy playing games and simply enjoy owning games as part of a collection.

It is less frustrating not to play a game because you do not want / lack time than because you have lost it or it no longer works.

Umm... I haven't installed it yet (though did download it, and will today), but that sounds pretty much what I had in mind to do once I'm ready.

Cheers for the chuckles, great image to start the day. ;-D

Excellent news! Congratulations on this success, GOG!
Looks like my wishlist will be populated with A LOT of classic (and classy...) games now. :D
Was anybody else hoping that when the timer was up there would be a day of Star Wars and Indiana Jones Music on the main page of the site?
Oh. My. God. This is a great success for you; congratulations; my dreams come true.

Really hope GOG's contract doesn't include only adventures and Star Wars titles, Outlaws is probably the more known of these other ones, but is nice to see people remembering games like Afterlife and Secret Weapons of Luftwaffe too
