A chance to play X-Wing again? A chance to play TIE Fighter?
Ya know what? I'm not even gonna wait for a sale. This DESERVES full money on first day.
And hey, I can maybe hope to see Rebel Assault and/or X-Wing: Alliance soon. :D

askteam99: Can someone please tell me what is so great about these games? If anything I'm a little...Disappointed that this is the new publisher. PLEASE DON'T TAKE THAT THE WRONG WAY! My point being is these games don't really seem to appeal to me. But I hope you all have great times with these games! It surely is a great time to be on GOG indeed!
Well... X-Wing and TIE Fighter were some of the greatest space sims of their era. More than that, they positively DRIPPED atmosphere. They made me love the Star Wars universe, BEFORE I actually watched the movies.
Congratulations to all at GOG on a truly great signing.
I was going to wait for a sale but you guys deserve full price for this. Thank you, I can finally play X-Wing and TIE Fighter, just let me know when you plan on getting X-Wing Vs. TIE Fighter, kay?
Wow just looking at all those titles released my wallet has locked up in fear.
You rock, GOG! Though my bank account might disagree... :P

What publisher did you expect? To me, any other would have been a letdown. LucasArts had the best (point-and-click) adventure games in History, only rivaled by Sierra. But if the genre is not your cup of tea, then it's not. There is also all the "Star Wars" stuff, of course.

Another question: I just want to buy one of the space shooters by now. Which one should I pick: X-Wing or Tie-Fighter?
I've yet to play Tie-Fighter, but I hear it comes highly recommended.
WOW!

I don't post in these forums very often, but jus HAD to say how exctited I am to see LucasFilms\Lucas Arts game here.

EXCELLENT work GOG! ( :

Got Sam & Max, Monkey Island, and Fate Of Atlantis straight away, of course. And looking forwardto seeing more of their classic adventures.

Please please please add Maniac Mansion, Day Of THe Tentacle, and the rest of the Monkey Island games soon.

I remember playing these space sims multiplayer with friends, I think it was X-Wing vs Tie Fighter. It was some of the best fun I've had with multiplayer flight games.
Thank you GOG and Disney Interactive/Games
Wow, this is a great day in gaming, X-Wing and TIE Fighter available again! LucasArts distributing DRM free again! It feels like the early 90s again!! :D
So much <3
This all feels so... surreal. In some way I did not see this coming, in another way it shouldn't be too surprising. But with GOG Galaxy, a small coupling of Amiga-emulated titles and FUCKING THIS I think GOG is setting off to close this year with a bang.

That massive loss of Nordic Games and the couple from Frictional was truly unfortunate but this should make up for it.

I've been literally waiting for this day since GOG first started. Glad it's finally here!
