hedwards: Do we need more?
Anyways, what makes you think it's not going to be more of that Enterprise, crap? I personally lost interest after Deep Space 9. I liked the series, but the episodes of Voyager I saw didn't seem particularly good.
I'd much rather see more movies if they must continue the series. But, at some point, it seems best to just let the series retire.
darthspudius: Well someone is a little pessimistic. Enterprise and Voyager had their moments. Also yes, we need more. Nuff said.
Perhaps, but it seems like reboots are a massively mixed bag. Batman has had several good reboots over the years. But, Spiderman's had some issues at times in that department.
It would be nice if the new series is well thought out, developed and a quality series, but who knows. They aren't rebooting it because we don't have enough Star Trek to watch, they're doing it because there's a huge market for it. Whether or not that translates into them spending the money necessary to get quality writing is a completely different matter.
monkeydelarge: You should give Star Trek Enterprise another chance. The show fails at making a good first time impression with people but I find it superior to Deep Space 9. You just have to look past the theme song, the uniforms of the Enterprise crew and the first episode.
Perhaps I will. I tend to prefer the older ones, I can't recall why exactly I was watching DS9, but it was kind of a nice change of pace over the other serieses.
