Just seen an advert for assassins creed 46 or something similar, the Victorian episode. Does anyone seriously buy this rubbish, I mean the first one was pretty bad but they still seem to pile them out, and make money, staggering really.

Maybe the next one can be a call of assassins dooty.
Seeing as i don't watch ads, don't watch TV, and don't use Uplay... i haven't heard of this before, and glad i don't... All this DLC and milking i don't have to suffer through; Good thing too since my nipples are tender and bruise easily...
I have no idea who buys this series. There seems to be a lot of them though.

An assassin wearing white is ridiculous. God help us the movie is coming out as well.
Ubisoft probably produces the most expensive shovelware there is. The last entry in the series was pretty shockingly bad. So it will be pretty interesting to see how well this one does. Not because I care about the game, but I am interested to see if humans can develop the ability to learn from their mistakes the way that rats can.

One day maybe.
Is this where we gather in a circle and do some jerkin' while declaring CD Projekt Red the best dev/publisher of all time?

I had been buying it up until Black Flag, no idea what happened afterwards.

With the exception of the first one that was pants, the rest of them were fun for what they were. I can't speak to what happened with more recent games as I haven't played them.

Series like AC are the reason to have Gamefly where it's available.

No, this is the one where we smoke pipes and rip on how we've already read this story in the form of '50s era sci-fi short stories.

1,2 (the best imho) & Black Flag aren't bad games. Just pushing the formula too much too often.

You have better nomination than CD Projekt Red?

'I don't think circle "jerking" is a gender inclusive terminology'.
Sorry, just trying to sound like someone who tends to say shit like that lately...
Literally had no idea which game OP was referring to until I clicked the thread, since that can describe like every Ubishit game over the last few years.

they should have stayed with crusade era and ended it there
I stopped buying the series when it was set in America. After I saw that it was an annual thing I knew it was going to not be very innovative enough and just tack things on like Madden or any of those games. Games need time to develop and a one year cycle is not long enough to invest resources in trying new ideas out and fleshing out a good story.
Black Flag was such a good game... What the hell has happened to you Ubisoft?
iv liked them all up until Black Flag so far. I especially enjoyed the original game. Could be worse things to recycle.

The games don't take 1 year to develop, though. They take 2-3 years and are done by different teams.
