A bit unrelated but if you still feel doing a new "walking simulator" after your collaborations, GAIA has been released on the asset store so you can greatly scale up the size of your worlds in a very short time:

(unless you end up doing an "indoor-only" type of game of course ^o^)

Oh, that thing looks cool! Thanks for letting me know :)

I'd actually like to do something more gameplay-oriented next, but I don't know. I'm starting to feel burnt out, so I'm going to take some time to just brainstorm and play around with things and decide what I really want to work on next. Also, I have 2 collabs I'm doing :P
80% off already, eh?

Oh good lord, seriously? Again?

it was supposed to be 40% off... -_-

Time to contact Steam!

Yikes, I hope they fix it quickly because the game is already low priced. Also congratulations on getting out another really intriguing game jefequeso, I hope it does really well. :)

Well, honestly, it's probably good for me, as it's going to get the game a lot of exposure. But it's not really fair to customers.

The 25$ price is only for the first week, after that it will be 65$ so don't wait too much. And for something more gameplay-oriented, this asset is just for the world/terrain, nothing prevents you to add guns, explosions and vehicles to do the next Crysis/Arma :o)

Yeah, people that bought the game when it was released at 40% off won't be pleased even if the difference is only about a quarter of a dollar.

I'm going to consider it. I was thinking about doing something very outdoor themed next anyway.

I was replaying Betrayer and realized its visuals would meld perfectly with Miasmata-esque gameplay, so maybe I'll do something like that...
It looks good! I confess I love silent hill like horror games where the ambiance and environment really get your blood running as opposed to resident evil type jump scares. Nothing wrong with some jump scares, but they really get boring fast without anything else. I added to the wishlist so we can hopefully get votes and get it on here for you!

FrodoBaggins: Looks lovely. Those screenshots are gorgous!

But I won't buy it on steam.

Have you submitted it here on GOG?
avatar
jefequeso: I will, but they haven't accepted anything of mine in the past, so don't get your hopes up.

Itch.io release will be DRM free.
Itch.io is not DRM-free. It's a steam code ) :

EDIT: Soulroad, added my vote to the GOG Wishlist.

You should be able to download it off itch.io as well, DRM-free

Are you talking about itch.io in general or specifically about A Wolf in Autumn?

Because itch.io certainly supports DRM-free versions, and I assume jefequeso put a DRM-free version up if he says he did.

EDIT: See attached screenshot and highlighted text.

I just did a quick test with the basic features and unity default assets and the result came out almost instantly. Add some image post-processing and you're in! :o) The interface is intuitive and the documentation is good (2 pdf and a youtube channel)

In the official thread, there's already a good amount of screenshots by users in the last pages where it's combined with different assets
