Hey guys,

Vlad (from the GOG Twitch Stream) here with a quick message.

As you know, I stream scary/spooky games each Saturday on GOG's Twitch.

Just found out about a kickstarter for a cool sounding new horror adventure game named Gray Dawn.

The devs are Romanian (based on the kickstarter video) and the footage looks great so since I also am Romanian I decided to show them a little support and share the link for the project.

If you have a few minutes to spare, maybe you'll be interested in checking out their project.

Thanks!

See you on the livestreams!

Vlad.
Grim Dawn, Gray Dawn, I'm confused! :P
Just saw the trailer & gameplay videos. It looks amazing, I guess we will be in for a very immersive journey. One question: I don't see GOG mentioned anywhere (only DRM-Free on Steam) so, will it be released here?
I misread the title and though at first it's some very politically incorrect parody of zombie games.

Hey guys,

First, let me say thank you for checking the project out.

Sadly, since I am not at all connected to the project or the devs, I have zero idea about GOG release plans.

I hope however that this game will be made and will then be released on GOG.

Best wishes,
Vlad.
At about 2.38, "Steam, Greenlight, Yay!" - no! Wake me up if it ever comes here.
I find it amusing that for one tier you get a "Steam key" then if you want to increase your donation you get a "drm-free copy of the game (via Steam)" so seemingly the same thing. It is encouraging they are considering GOG, if funded.
Just checked the tiers and one of them says: "Your name on the graveyard near the cursed church in our game!"

WTF? Who wants his name on the graveyard anyway? :D

Many people do. Virtual headstones were and still are a popular way to immortalize contributors.

Oh, let me rephrase my post:

"WTF? Who wants his name on the graveyard, while still alive anyway?

Also a great way to ruin a player's suspension of disbelief. Nothing takes you out of a game faster than realizing that whatever thing are KS contributors.

No contest here. I pledged a lot for Divinity: Original Sin, which allowed me to wreak all sorts of havoc, but because I couldn't (and still can't) run the game and therefore write content that wouldn't be complete ass (obvious quip notwithstanding), I abstained. I'm okay with characters looking like backers, because they have to have an appearance so why not Zoidberg. I'm super not okay with "oh and here's where the kickstarter backers are buried, you can tell the tier by how fancy the headstone is, the ones who backed out are over there in a ditch".
The game looks lovely. I love horror adventures ( :

But I won't back it, if it's steam-only!
The rewards are a little lackluster.
I emailed the developers, and they submitted Gray Dawn to GOG. ( :
