I have a nephew that is part of group called Free Range Games. They are nearing the completion of new game and I would like to put up a link to their Facebook page on a couple RPG sites I participate on. But I don't know your rules about links to other games. Is it acceptable?

Bob
Sounds good to me. Let's see what you've got!

edit:
We have several-year-long threads dedicated to other gaming services. GOG is a good sport about such things.

Since you are open about where this originates from, people should've no reason to object you posting about your nephew's game. Me, I'd say, let's see it :) GOG itself never seemed to mind about these sort of things.

The art seems quality and the mechanics blend fun, but a CCG business model? I don't wanna buy card packs to fully experience the base game. No, thanks.
So that's why the name seemed familiar, already saw the SBE endorsment of it.

Depends on how the packs are actually gained. Solforge for example gives you 1 pack per day for logging in (usually basic, may be bigger one though), and another for your 3rd win of the day (either vs AI or another player). You can also grind for silver to craft cards, though it does take some time.
If you are an above average player though, card collecting does become easier. So it all depends on the specific mechanics, which may or may not work.

Sure thing, if you do receive cards based on your skill, or anything other than just via extra purchases, this would still be interesting.
Thanks for taking a look. I got that brilliant kid involved in gaming when I let him play my Baldur's Gate--- after which my brother refused to talk to me. If the game goes well, maybe I'll get invited back for Thanksgiving. LOL.

The card mechanics need to explained better. Good input.

Thanks again
