PainOfSalvation: You are stuck with Windows 10 no matter if you go Ryzen route or Intel 7th - 8th gen CPU. In case you go Ryzen, like Themken said, pick faster RAM (3000 or 3200MHz) but make sure your motherboard supports it.

Don't see how. I've torn apart and built many computers. Takes something like an hour for the hardware side, the software side is another hour or so. Afterwards you're set for 5-10 years unless you wanted to change something.
