Hi people, I post this here because will have more attention than the game's forum. I just noticed that the game 32-bit installer doesn't work, it's just a 30MB download. Tried to install it on an old laptop to have something to play, but it doesn't work just intalled some random files from GOG. Also tried to install the base game and on top the 32-bit installer but doesn't work.
Somebody know how to install it? There is a secret or is an error from GOG, for what I read the 32-bit installer should be available as a separated download.

I think there's a small misunderstanding. There are two versions of NWN. Enhanced Edition and the pre-enhancement, classic Diamond edition. 30 MB suggests you downloaded a part of Diamond edition, but you missed the second part which is 2.4 GB

No no, it's the 32-bit installer of the Enhanced Edition, if you go to the tab Español will show you the installer, English version doesn't seems to have one.

Here's a silly idea: those small files are labeled as patches, perhaps you're supposed to download 32 bit NWN:EE from https://files.beamdog.com/ and patch it? (It's a large archive, it seems to contain multiple language versions).

Or you're supposed to download and install the 64-bit version and "patch" it with the 32-bit file?

I doubt GOG wants you to download something from another site.

How would I know. GOG doesn't seem to provide any information about what users are supposed to do.

I know. Shadow Tactics has a similar strange 32-bit installer which can't possibly have the entire game in it (in total only 141mb). All I can think is it's a "patch", probably just replacing the files necessary to run on 32-bit systems.

The files are likely an error from GOG. The game requires a 64-bit processor.

Even weirder for Shadow Tactics, the requirements list 64-bit required for Windows, but that it's 32-bit only for Mac and Linux. And nope, that's a dummy installer, not a patch, at least according to that report...

This is another problem with GOG, there are so many games with useless offline installer pieces like in this case, or like soundtracks that for some reason sometimes also become fake DLCs of the game.

Yes, I know but the 32 bit version should be still available, for what I found, it's like a legacy version, it's available on Steam and also it's available on GOG but it seems like an error.

Yes, that looks like a bad system, and GOG doesn't explain anything about it, I will try to see if it works. But it's a really terrible system to depend on a third party, of they close their page then F for the GOG customers.

I bring some news, the file of NNEE 32 bits are for the version Beamdog provide and you can find here: https://files.beamdog.com/
Cavalary, the version of Shadow Tactics 32-bit has been discontinued, seems that GOG forgot to delete the entry.
