thanks for posting as always bud! :)
Cheers.

Great to see some familiar faces are still around.

Elmofongo: Now the cinematics are inconsistant.

1 time launching the game it is painfully slow and the other time the cinematics for the company logos were working fine but the cinmatic for the Game (Showing the Warrior fighting the Minotaur) lags very late in the showing.
Sorry Elmo, that change usually does the trick.

But since your fiddling with the .exe properties try disabling desktop composition as well.

Does disabling desktop composition completely removes the taskbar and programs (as in hides them)

Don't worry, you are applying that compatibily option to the game's .exe so desktop composition will only be disabled while the game is running, everything returns to normal when you close the game.

Sachys: For just once... CHECK THE FUGGIN SUBFORUM YOU GIMP!
OK OK Guys this thread is now redundant because appearently I got it all wrong.

So the thing I'm complaining about is the opening cinematics with the logos and and the first CG cinematic which is this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3FlC1-HNos

But the other cinematics where its just a voiced narrorator and still images which are these:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ms6x4CnhNto

Well they were already working fine. Even before I switched the SafeMovie=0 to 1. And they are still working now.

But the logos and the cg cutscene are still a bit finicky so all is not lost.

I am sorry if this thread wasted everyone's time.

*sniffs

I fear you have feisty confused with "a bit sweaty and in need of a shave"

No worries Elmo, if you're all set to play it it's all good.

Damn, talk about a wasted opportunity. My bad :)

Elmofongo: I checked the subforum and well they made suggestions that I do not know which to pick. And I do not have the patiences of waiting because sub-forum replies are slower than a game of Golf.
I'm sure the next 10 people searching the subforum for the solution to the same problem will greatly appreciate that.

Well, maybe next time (if those damned meddling kids dont prevent you from getting away with it! O____o)

Elmofongo: So I installed Neverwinter Nights, but for some reason the intros to the logos like "Bioware" and "Wizards of the Coast" and the first cinematic are all, for lack of a better term: Lagging.

Like they just keep stopping and resuming for some reason. The game itself works fine though.

Any advice on how to fix this?
Read this, follow step 4: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Neverwinter_Nights#Dual-core_or_multi-core_processors

Changing Client CPU Affinity to -2 is all you should need to do to fix that, at least that's what worked for me.

Ah, I see. Well, that setting should clear up the logo and opening cg too should you wish to fix that. I think in my case I had to use that setting for the other cinematics as they started having that problem for me I think.

Not to mention it's only in the top 5 most active sub-forums.
