This was definetly the last time i bought a game on GOG!! I have only problems all the time, nothing works! Some of my games i bought never worked on one of my computers and now i wanted to play my favorite game Anstoss 3 and SUDDENLY ALL GAMES are deleted on galaxy and not installed and if i want to install this game new there comes error messages..im so angry...nothing works with this stuff

If you commonly explain the issue, maybe we can help you. Many people use Galaxy and / or GOG every single day without issue. It's possible the database file tracking you game installations got corrupted somehow, but it's unlikely Galaxy deleted your games. Check where you had them installed and see if the folder are still there.

If so use scan and import in Galaxy to re-add them...

welcome to the amazing experience that is gog since roughly 2011. gog doesn't do shit about making the games work that they sell, of course there are some rare exceptions. the best thing is to not buy games from gog and support this sh#tty behaviour. also you may be able to get the money back. through their refund offer or if you bought by credit card, do a charge back.

Galaxy is (just about) “optional”. You can go to the website and download offline installers for your games, these install and run without the need (*exceptions*) of galaxy. It’s quite likely you are missing some basic components (things that are hidden from you by using dumb client software like galaxy). Examples being directx, physx, c++ extensions. Any of these things can break several games at once.

Galaxy prompts or auto - installs these, so unless OP canceled the installation or Galaxy could not install them do to some kind of rights issue these should have been installed. If that is the case though, doing a repair of the game in Galaxy should fix it.

And some of us don't use it at all; Or as little as possible. Hard to say.

Though i haven't had issues with the offline installers with my games.

I don't know jack about Galaxy, but if you like a more old school experience, you can just click on the drop-down menu on your profile name on the top bar, click on "Games" and it will bring you to your gaming library.

From there, you select the game you want to download and you download the "offline backup installers". These are standalone installers that will install the game.

The Linux version of the installers can be a little finicky at times (sometimes, you'll need to download some extra packages that aren't listed, so you might have to look at the error message you get when you start the game if you are missing the packages and do a bit of Googling), but the Windows version (which tend to be the one that is best maintained afaik) have yet to fail me for any of the games I played so far.
