Look on the bright side: at least there will be a Ciri in the series :P. A lot of adaptations do away with some characters altogether or merge characters for the sake of budget, a less complicated storyline and so on.
I for one am more looking forward to reading the novels, but if this turns out to be generally OK, I don't care who they cast in what role, their skin color or what they eat for breakfast. Hell, they can cast non-Irish/Scottish people to play dwarves and put down-pointing ears on elves and I wouldn't mind. Just make it a decent, interesting, fun to watch series.
If it sucks ass or you don't like the creative liberties they've taken, don't watch it - stick to the games, books, anything else you like. Problem solved.
Enebias: In truth though, despite how bad Nilfgaard can be, it is by far the most tolerant institution among Humans.
They are more about business than principles! XD
Yeah, I agree, but what have the Romans ever done for us? :P
