It's probably time to remove Nekro from the 'coming soon' category. Quote from the review section of the game's Steam page:

I am 50% owner of darkForge games LLC and I am responsible for creating all the visual art you have come to know as Nekro. Below is an update of what the state of the game and company is in. I am posting this so that you – the loyal fans and community can rally behind me to get this game completed and receive all your physical rewards. There is no doubt this post, and all else I make will be deleted so please propagate and keep this for future reference:

What Happened:
Nekro was originally supposed to be a 1-1.5 year development cycle after the Kickstarter campaign. While blame can be placed on a great many things we never actually had funding other than the Kickstarter and our personal finances of which I spent every penny I had. So we decided to rush to Early Access to help fund the completion of the game.

Once we got funding rolling in I heard the same story year after year, Scott would say “I can't do it, I need another year”. This happened for 2 years. Bear in mind Scott was taking 100% of all revenue even though we have a contract that explicitly states he can only take 50%. His reasoning was - “this is the only way we are going to finish the game”. So I obliged him, to the projects detriment. The last 5 months of 2015 however it became glaringly obvious what was happening. Scott was taking 100% of the revenue still but he stopped working on the game, he became too comfortable making money with no ambition to continue. I told him. “you cannot take funds from the game unless you are working on it!” This sent Scott into an uproar and he blocked me out of every account there is; the website, the Kickstarter, the steam account, and finally he took the last funds and shut-down the LLC bank account. To add insult to injury I was forced to pay over $1,000 of my own money for the 2015 California tax License as well as paying 50% of the taxes from the 2015 revenue of which Scott that he took 100% for his own personal benefit. Since Scott has blocked me from contacting him in any way.

The Future of Nekro:
There is no future unless I get ownership of darkFroge LLC and Nekro. I have most of the physical rewards and am dying to ship them. The game is almost complete as it is - so I would be able to finish the rest of the game in a short period of time after the transfer. What I ask of you is be very loud and demand that Scott hands over the assets and accounts to the game, and I promise I will not only complete the game but also give funds for those who worked on the game and were never paid.
Ooo ouch that's ugly. Best of luck to drkSeed on getting that mess sorted out.

O . O

You have got to be fucking kidding me. I was quite proud to be one of the original backers on KS for this game, even before TotalBiscuit gave it a ringing endorsement. I was patient. But to hear that this game, which had so much promise, is now mired in bickering and could very well be dead is incredibly disappointing. Actually, I'll go further and say that it's gotten me angry. (Mind you, I am waiting to read more from the developer's perspective.)

Apparently, the person who was the coding half of darkForge has been busily working on Subnautica. I find that to be reprehensible. It's apparently too much to ask someone to finish working on one pre-release/EA game for sale in an incomplete state before asking money for another pre-release/EA game for sale in an incomplete state.
So is 'Klegran' the one accused of being a thief?

Some relevant quotes from the developer:

"...The game is currently in a holding pattern. I see no point in furthering any discussion about anything really concerning the game. The ability to purchase the game has been brought down as a sign or respect to those who would purchase the game thinking it's in an active state. I said I would be making an annoucement about the state of the game and I still intend to do that."

"Yes, he's very angry and I completely understand why. All we wanted to do was make a great game. But things happen: people disagree, life throws unexpected challenges, and things change. What he said had many points of truth, but many fallacy as well (primarily stealing, no one on the team stole anything including him and myself). I would love to clear it all up. However, at the end of the day, from the view of you guys - it's not pretty. The specific details of the drama are more or less irrelevant when they culminate in you not getting the game you wanted. And that's the real loss here. As I said, I will make an official announcement later. Thanks."

Sigh. Well, out of the games I backed on KS, I suppose that statistically speaking, at least one of them had to go belly-up. (The jury is still out on Torment: Tides of Numenera, but given inXile's frequent updates and excellent track record with Wasteland 2 I have a hell of a lot more faith in them than darkForge.)

Yup.
Man, the ONE game in EA I was looking forward to. The art style looked incredible and I loved the videos. I really hope things work out
Another Early Access title which will endup in a bundle. Now I am thinking that whether it will be humble meh bundle or humble must buy bundle.

Btw this reminds me of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms.
Internet drama is funny. Internet drama about shit you don't even understand? Hilarious.

Well, I won't play it unless they finish the whole game.

This is a very strange comment from a dev who made a lot of money with early access and a Kickstarter campaign:

"I generally recommend against early access, as this is absolutely the ugly side of it. I think waiting is a generally very good practice and EA games should be approached with much discretion."

I'm just glad I haven't purchased it in the sales GOG had.
