Rep should be based on the amount of games bought on GOG, not spamming the forums, word association for example.

He post enough, that isn't the problem. He made it on to NES' shit list so like myself and several others we lose 6-12 a day regardless of how much and what we post.

I dropped 5 more while I wrote that, and if you look I'll think you'll see all of NES' alts all jumped 5.

NES is a notorious scammer with some 60+ alternate accounts which he uses to either scam or spam. If somebody calls him out on it, he then logs into several of these accounts and uses each one to downvote that person's posts and upvote his own, thus causing them to lose 6-12 rep points every time he does it. I am one of these people, and tinyE is another. That's why, despite having a lot of high rated posts and despite posting a lot, I never get past around 50 as far as rep goes.

you would think gog would wish to do something about this issue that harms their older members and makes gog look really bad.

Nope. Everybody here realizes that rep is a useless system for this exact reason. Like tinyE is saying, the general consensus is that it should be done away with altogether.
