Well, saying that Flashback is a cyberpunk is a stretch. Yes, it has some of the aesthetics of the near future, but that can be said about a lot of games.

In fact, such games as Blade Runner and Snatcher both have more cyberpunk-ish atmosphere. So it's strange that no one had recommended them,

especially since Blade Runner is on GOG now.

Very nice! I want to get Mirror's Edge at some point as a big fan of parkour in games. I also didn't know about that particular TRON game. Thanks for the suggestions!

A lot of major cyberpunk games have been mentioned in the thread.

I did manage to find one with a partial cyberpunkish theme and vibe. Check it out.

or, even better, the original with OpenXcom

Only other possible examples I can contribute aren't officially afaik available for download anywhere, but are still possible to get working on modern systems:

Flashback does indeed have Cyberpunk anesthetics (the levels on New Washington and Earth) . And strong ones.
If you say Flashback isn't Cyberpunk, I could also claim Blade Runner isn't, because it doesn't include cyber-hacking or whatever.
But "Cyberpunk" is indeed much more than chads going around with implants on their brain :

And you're correct - "Snatcher" is also a Cyberpunk game (I won't mention Blade Runner because OP had already wrote he was aware of it).

aesthetically speaking, Killer Is Dead and STRIDER fit the bill as well.

Oh nice! I like that it's a visual novel not in the anime style. Nothing against anime, but it's just not really my thing, I tend to prefer western art styles so that's automatically a plus IMO!

I've heard of XCom but never actually played it. I have it on my wishlist though. And as for the other two, I'll vote them up and look into getting them, thanks!

Nah, I don't mind, I'm not a real hardcore TRON fan so I just enjoy the stuff where I find it. I'll definitely add those two to my list and I'll keep an eye out for DataJack, many thanks!

Oh yeah, I love the Shadowrun trilogy! I haven't finished any of them yet but I love the concept and atmosphere.

Yeah, I heard that, I'm sure I could get it running via an emulator or abandonware site until they get it up on GOG or wherever else.
