okay, fellow goglodytes, this time it's my turn to ask fur your help.
the thing is, suddenly I've remembered playing a certain game and... guess, the subj tells everything.
here's what I DO remember:
- I played it on ZX Spectrum. 128k, I think. but could be 48k as well.
- it was a platformer.
- it wasn't a sidescrolling one. screens were still and only changed when you reached the boundaries. think Dizzy.
- it was about some energy plant, I guess? there were reactor cores of some sort that went awry and the player needed to balance 'em.
- speaking of the player. the "protag" was looking like an egg on thin "spider-like" legs.
- there were mushrooms growing here and there and the player could stump them into floor by jumping.
- IIRC, the player's health was shared with the energy of forementioned cores. so it was impossible to drain from the overloaded one when healthy and to pump the underpowered ones up if the damage was taken.
- as fur enemies, I remember some blueush foam crawling on the floor.
sorry, can't even give an approximate year, but the game in question surely was released before 1995 (as I parted with my Spekky by that time) and I doubt earlier 1988 (fur its graphics were pretty good).
and it definitely wasn't Amaurote, he-he.
thanks in advance.
