Free updates are always a hoot but sometimes they are so massive, they even smash the game's name into pieces and rebuild it in their own image! <span class="bold">BRUTAL EDITION</span> introduces The Brute, a brand new playable class that comes swinging with 7 new unique pieces of armor and a whole set of fixes and additions like: 7 new enemies, 16 new weapons (including new unique abilities), new traps, tasty consumables and recipes, performance improvements, and combat tweaks.

Since multiplayer is such a huge aspect of this game, there's no point in getting it without it being supported. I'll wait until the game is actually finished before picking it up.

Completely agree. Especially since there are developers who sell early access DLCs for their early access games (see Ark for example).

there is even worse: devs selling stuff through IAP/micro transaction for a game supposedly "in early access"
folks, ifyou sell DLCs and open a store for IAP, your game ain't early access, it's released, wether its current state looks lame and unfinished or not

i wish some devs would stop using early access as a convenient excuse

as for necropolis, i was very dissapointed (to say the least) with initial release: the game seemed to be unfinished, and seriously lacking in many aspects.

I'll try this new version just to check

If there are two things I like in videogames, those are Dark Souls and Low Poly art style so... Instabought with such an update and such a discount.
