Pick your contracts. Hunt your targets. Collect the bounty.

Navigate an ocean of crime and corruption to balance the bloody ecosystem of Necromunda as a merciless hired gun. The money’s good, the dog’s loyal, and the gun’s reliable – but can you survive the hunt? Necromunda: Hired Gun is an indie fast-paced, violent, and thrilling FPS set in the darkest reaches of Warhammer 40,000’s most infamous hive city.

For the right price, eliminate the most notorious gangers and mutants. Your armory is a sprawling arsenal. Your body is enhanced with a dozen customizable augments to run on walls and leap over chasms. Your cyber-mastiff will sniff out and kill enemies for you, while your grappling hook allows quick, agile traversal of the massive environments.

- An indie fast-paced FPS in the Warhammer 40,000 universe
- Upgrade and fight alongside your loyal cyber-mastiff
- Endless weapon and augment customisation
- Upgrade, advance, and level up as you collect bounties

A DLC listing for the Hunter's Bounty pack sheds a little more light on the game. Different outfits suggest you'll be able to pick male or female leads (perhaps even customisable), and you'll be able to give your dog a chew-toy to make them a more efficient killer.

I never was a Warhammer fan, but the W40K universe is slowly engulfing and hooking me... and this game looks great.

You have my vote.
Looks really nice. Voted.
Looks decent at first glance. Also, it being published by Focus Home makes it realistic the game could come here. Might be a good new single player FPS which is a rarity these days. 40K setting is also a huge plus.

Upgrade and fight alongside your loyal cyber-mastiff
...and it's a singleplayer experience. I'm keeping an eye out for this one!

Warhammer 40K Doom Edition +1
Plus 1 from me for the wishlist, but let's be honest, there's a high chance of this not making it to gog, which means I just might buy a game on Steam...it's been a long while since my last purchase over there. :P

Edit: Still waiting for Necromunda: Underhive Wars
I know it's a different dev, but the publisher is Focus Home.

It'd be funny if it turned out to be a better 'cyberpunk'.
All jokes aside I think I'd still rather play the dark heresy rpg with real friends those screen shots are junk and I know it won't capture the idea or atmosphere of the hive well even if it's officially licensed.

At least not right away and in the worst case scenario not until 2025 (took Streum On's last title, Space Hulk: Deathwing 4 years to show up on GoG) but it's going to release here eventually. Same with Underhive Wars.
It's all about patience.

The NuDoom comparison a few posts earlier seems very appropriate.
Pretty much your bog-standard modern FPS with minimal character progression via unlocking/upgrading skills in what looks like more or less linearly strung together bounty hunting missions you acquire in this Martyr's End hub-like area.
It has the 40K setting going for it, however.

That's the thing I severely lack. :D
warhammer 40k and fps? I'll take anything that includes both ;)
They might release the game on gog later down the line, but a day 1 release isn't going to happen.

I just saw this Steam thread.
