Thank you for this giveaway and I hope you enjoy your retirement, either by playing games and/or doing things you really, really wanted to do, but didn't have the chance or time to do them.

Congratulations of finally breaking free of the need to toil away and trade your time, health, sanity and relationships for a chance to "earn a living" often an inadequate one at that. Still waiting for the time when we'll do away with all that and a decent standard of living will be guaranteed for all. Hope you'll use this to do what you want to do from now on, focus on interests, causes you care for, relationships and your wellbeing.
On that note, in practical terms, nothing for me to retire from, and sure hope that'll remain the case. And rather doubt I'll reach what today seems likely to be the retirement age when I'll get there if the system won't change by then, and doubt even more that I'll want to. But rephrasing it as what I'd want to do if alongside of keeping control of my time I'll also have a guaranteed (and sufficient) income, in whatever form, since the difference won't be time, first I'd say do more for the causes I believe in because I won't be limited by what I can do for free (including no travel expenses, required tools, even food and so on).

I am indeed happy, and have been for some time. I suppose part of my life has seen happier times, and much worse times, so I am at the very worst now, content. And that suits me just fine. If I get desperate to feel useful I'll just sell some organs (humour, guys, just humour).

Long story Foxy, but interesting (and exciting...for me). I am now not as well off as when at my peak, but better off than my last job.

Reposiric: I love when I see older people who love video games.
I do believe that one has to have played since the eighties to TRULY appreciate what we have now. If you can imagine a black screen with a broad grey stripe running through it. The picture a white wire frame triangle being controlled by you, trying to ease it onto the grey stripe. "Yes! I've just landed an F-16 in fog!"

1) We have two ears and one mouth - for a reason.

Not in for any games, but I did want to say Congrats and Best Wishes on your retirement, as well as thank you for the generous giveaway.

Big congratulations on the retirement. You get to chill out now. I got a long ways to go before I get there myself. I’d like to take up something relaxing up in a mountain cabin somewhere myself. I’d definitely be getting through the backlog of games I’ve always wanted to play but never had the time for.
