Wow! What a lot of nice friendly people here. I am touched by the response so far, particularly the greetings from those not in. Very kind thought, thank you.
Don't worry, the giveaway is still running until next weekend, just thought it time to pop in and say thanks, and a few replies...
bhrigu: So after the conclusion of 'work' what are your plans for now?
Late nights, later mornings, a little more excercise and a lot more gaming.
MaxFulvus: No idea if you are happy or not, considering that some people fear to be "useless" when they are retired

I am indeed happy, and have been for some time. I suppose part of my life has seen happier times, and much worse times, so I am at the very worst now, content. And that suits me just fine. If I get desperate to feel useful I'll just sell some organs (humour, guys, just humour).
karnak1: No more stupid bosses and having to deal with imbecilic co-workers,
You got that right. It's hard to soar with eagles when you work with turkeys.
Fairfox: did you retire early or old. mebbe you're a gazillionaire
Long story Foxy, but interesting (and exciting...for me). I am now not as well off as when at my peak, but better off than my last job.
TwoHandedSword: And what means this word, RE TIE URR MENT?
Nice one. Reminded me of that word...IN SEWER ANTS. You know, the one that led to the great fire of Ankh-Morpork.
Reposiric: I love when I see older people who love video games.
I do believe that one has to have played since the eighties to TRULY appreciate what we have now. If you can imagine a black screen with a broad grey stripe running through it. The picture a white wire frame triangle being controlled by you, trying to ease it onto the grey stripe. "Yes! I've just landed an F-16 in fog!"
PhilD: I suppose when I retire I'll be old enough to get discount movie tickets

Well I now have a bus pass. The best part of that is I now no longer have to make a mess on my credit card when I rack up a line of coke! (Humour, guys, just humour, come on now, behave).
Vingry: What will your plans be after your retirement?

Late nights, later mornings, a bit more excercise, a lot more gaming.
There were more posts I could answer, but they would have become rambling, and I'm not here for that (nor are you). I do have a lot to say (sometimes) but I always try to remember
1) We have two ears and one mouth - for a reason.
2) Everybody has the right to remain silent - some people lack the ability.
Goodnight for now, and again thank you to each of you.
