Well in the Human Centipede 2 a madman staples 14 people together, ass to mouth, and then injects them with laxative.

I think that qualifies as something. :D

i am aware of the human centipede

salo is still more unpleasant
Here's a couple of obscure ones - 'Ichi - The Killer' from Japan:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0296042/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Which is maybe more of an action / horror about a weird psycho kid

and 'Mum & Dad'

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1129428/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2

Whose juxtaposition of mundane British kitchen sink drama with Texas Chainsaw gore is almost comical in places, in the darkest way I've ever experienced! - It's maybe the closest thing to a film based on Fred West
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_West

Oh 'Bug'
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0470705/?ref_=nv_sr_4
is a trip too - ambiguous 'is the body horror really happening or is it paranoid delusions' stuff

There really is no gore in the Texas Chainsaw. I think the hand slice near the beginning is it. I'd like to pin that on Hooper's artistic integrity but he fully admits one of the reasons there was no gore was that they couldn't afford it. :P

I was maybe thinking of the remake / reboot more
I don't know if that makes me more of a monster than leatherface or...

Elmofongo: The Woman in Black.
I already covered Hammer Horror! Bow to me minion mwhahaha!

The Babadook was quite good. I wasn't expecting much from it but it fairly made us uncomfortable.
The Ring (remake of Ringu) was scary enough that the girl I went to watch this movie with ended up covering up her TV with a white cloth for many weeks. If I tried to remove the cloth from the TV, she got scared and jumped into bed hiding underneath the bed sheets. She wouldn't come out unless I covered up the TV again.
Many people prefer the original but I somehow find Ringu (or The Grudge etc) less scary then The Ring, it probably comes down to personal preference.

Ringu and the remake are great films. The suspense they create in that film is unrivalled if you ask me. A film that can have you scared without anything happening is incredible... of course then when something happens you pee yourself. Brilliant stuff.

They are great and nearly complete without any splatter or blood at all (I try to remember a splatter scene). There are three versions I know, the one with the blonde "american girls", the parody of the one with the "american girls" and one set in Japan or somewhere I think, where there is a haunted house?

What was this other movie, where some ghost sits on the guys back?

I cannot remember all those movies :D

That fast cut to the girl inside the closet after the "I SAW HER FACE" line had me mortified, one of the scariest moments I've seen on film ever. It's quite impossible to relax for the remainder of the movie after that split second cut.
this movie might not really belong here(its categorized as horror and comedy on imdb), but if you guys enjoy some comedy to go along with it, i think you should check out Black Sheep (theres a chris farley/david spade movie with the same name, its not this one, its from 2006)

I only seen this movie once, when i accidentally found it on tv on a lazy day, but i remember it being pretty funny if you enjoy that kinda stuff .... if you already seem it, lemme know what u thought of it .... i might have to watch it again some time
