Where did you install EOTB? Best to not install it in Windows-created folders (same for other games as well), like e.g. Program Files.

Now I'm facepalming. I kind of fixated on finding a normal6x scaler. oops

I think that those scaler presets are meant for fullscreen scaling. (and for older, lower resolution screens - given the low highest multiplication factors)
When I want a game fullscreen, I usually let my Nvidia card do the scaling.

I've downloaded a few games... all are in the GOG Galaxy in Program Files.
Can I just move the whole folder? Why would I want to move it or not use Program Files?

And it is not just some games might not run properly, if they are old enough to store settings and saves under the installation folder, the actual changes and added files might end up forgotten under the user's VirtualStore folder when they proceed to reinstall Windows falsely thinking that they have backed up everything already.

So, I've done some searching and don't see the easy way to do this. I moved my games folder, but they when I tried to launch the game, nothing happened.
I found scan foldes for new game, but it never found GOG games... I checked in the Goggames folder, the Games folder I moved in there, and the EOTB folder.
Plus, I have only installed via Galaxy... not sure how to do so otherwise

Answered my own question... figured how to move the games.

First, went to the gear in Gog Galaxy top left
In the drop menu, go to installing and updating. Choose your game installation folder (set this up before hand, like create a folder C:\GOG\Games

Any new installs will go there

For games already installed, I went to their folder... for me it was in PROGRAM FILES\GOG GALAXY\GAMES.
I cut and pasted that GAMES folder and put in the new one I created.
Then, in GOG galaxy, I uninstalled the games that had originally been in that folder. Then Installed.

Boom. I only had 5 games installed... I am not sure about doing it in batches if you have LOTS of games
