EnforcerSunWoo pointed out to me that, on Thursday, four different people will be streaming "RELEASE" games (and at least one on Friday), which suggests that it could be another batch of classic games. (unless there's reason to believe multiple indie games will happen, which I guess is certainly possible but there's nothing for that date in "Upcoming" I don't believe)

That's all ... just figured on the forum I'd share what ESW shared with me. Maybe it's more Disney, more WB (thanks for FEAR 2 today of course), more Retroism, more of those we haven't seen in a while (EA, Ubi, Squeenix, etc.) ...

Best thing that could happen, of course, would be Air Control: Forgiveness Edition.
World of magic is coming on the 19th I believe. That's probably one less slot.

No, that would be Day Two: Garry's Apology.
high rated
More LucasArts games or more WB games?
Perhaps a new publisher!

Ah okay, didn't know that. Ah well.
Piranjade will be streaming Oceanhorn on Thursday so that's one down for sure:

Oh okay, well maybe it's mostly indie games then.
GOG Twitch Streamer Pieman said on June 10th (https://www.twitch.tv/gogcom/v/71675601?t=01h49m53s), "By doing different things, by either buying games or by doing specific events, like going to the GOG.com Twitter or by coming back next Thursday, I believe, for when we're going to have a little thing going down, you'll have the chance to unlock EXP points that you can then use to buy games."

Also, SCPM discovered a whole host of games in the pipeline (https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_that_are_unofficially_confirmed_for_release_in_the_future_part_2/post3811), some of which have already released during this sale. Could the "little thing going down" today involve multiple releases from the list?

And this speculation warrants necroing a year+ old thread? Why? Make a new thread, or use the where's thursday's game thread.

A week necro or a year plus necro, it's still a necro. For the purposes of today, this is the Thursday release thread. This thread title was more accurate for my specific speculation. Why create a new topic when you can recycle an already existing one?

Making a new one would've been better. :l
Also I'm pretty sure Barry already mentioned this multiple times so why is this even necessary.

I mentioned it in the rapidly moving sales thread in two consecutive posts days ago, which would be silly to assume everyone saw. Bumping the release day threads, is rarely necessary, strictly speaking, just a chance for some fun speculation.

Because recycling an existing one means returning to what the OP was discussing, not what the reviving post is talking about.
What advantage do you see by necroing a thread to talk about something similar, but not what the OP was talking about?
Let's take the example of the kilgazar release thread, which was a forum member (adambiser if memory serves) talking about a game he released. Would you think that another member that released a game of their own should necro that thread to inform us about their game, or should they make a new thread instead?

If the post you make is something relevant to the opening post's discussion, feel free to necro. If it's something totally different, make a new thread.

Not necessarily. Somehow I doubt there will be much confusion.

Sure, dad. You do know the "Where the hell is Thursday's new game?!?!?!?" topic was created to inquire about a specific Thursday release day, long ago, right? It's okay for a thread to transcend it's original purpose. I didn't mean to trigger your OCD, but relax about it.

What do you mean necro? This thread was only just created.

Just look at a calendar, it says right there AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay no one talk, no one move! I need to figure out where I've been for the past thirteen months!
