Dorkness over 9000.

The Gamers, a 5-part comedic fantasy series firmly based in the nerdiest corners of the role-playing games fandom, is available up to 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $15.15 for the whole collection: Humans & Households, Hands of Fate, Dorkness Rising, Natural One, and the one that started it all, The Gamers (Director’s Cut), for the first four days.

One late night in a college dorm, four socially inept geeks immerse themselves in a fantasy world of their own creation. As their characters journey through forbidden kingdoms, ancient ruins, and the forsaken wilderness, the players attempt to solve a mysterious puzzle that could ultimately mean the difference between getting a life and death. Who is The Shadow? Where is The Princess hidden? Will any of them ever find a date? And how long do they have before their annoyed neighbors call the cops? So many questions, and that's only the first of the many adventures that lie ahead of our the bold party of heroes!

Get the whole series of The Gamers movies on GOG.com and save 60%, or get 40% discount on movies purchased separately. The special launch discount offer lasts until Tuesday, October 7, at 2:29PM GMT.

Fine go ahead but you suffer a -8 penalty for difficulty
Seems like a nice release. Never heard of the series though. Might pick up on a sale. Still hoping to see X-Files soon :)

ne_zavarj: Another crap release .
The amount of thought and arguments put into supporting your opinion about the releases being crap is astonishing. I assume you've wathced all the titles you've labeled as crap, yes?
Here's a thought - instead of attacking other people's tastes, why don't you explain what you think is so crap about them and share your refined tastes with us?

Take Crosmando for example - see how elegantly and respectful he always states his opinion?

Still won't buy any of these, but judging by the comments, the movies section is heading a good direction. Let's see what is ahead of us for the rest of the year..

If you have ever played Dungeons & Dragons in a relaxed group I can really recommend The Gamers. :-)

Crosmando: I thought this was some kind of old fantasy RPG being released.... fuck you gog
No need to be rude just because you didn't read the text right under the title where it says "movie series".
Hmm the 720p of The Gamers is not 720p, that's not great.
Nice release I had just posted about them about a week or so.
As a long time (longer than I would like to admit) L5R fan, Hands of Fate was a great movie and so was Dorkness Rising which is a very fun D&D parody.
Spanish (and other languages) subtitles, please!
I didn't realize there was that many gamers movies. I have only seen Dorkness Rising (which I loved by the way). I pretty much had no intention of buying movies from GOG ever... but I think I will have to bite for this with the sale price. Well played GOG, well played.
