I'll put that down to a relative lack of swiss chocolate experience.

(Also yes, pastitsio > moussaka. Especially when it comes to prophetic powers and miraculous deeds.)

Yes. but you can eat Moussaka on breakfast, at lunch and on dinner safely and if you eat chocolate cakes that much you can get diabetes :(

sunshinecorp: I'm on the last one now. It's alright but the taste is too light for my preferences. It's a "summertime" beer. :) The black one was the best of the four.
Oh man if I didn't think customs officials would be drinking all our beer in three weeks, I'd totally PM you my address and then send along some fantastic American IPAs in exchange for Greek beer and continental sours.

When reading the word moussaka, I - as a Swede - cannot help thinking about a Swedish actor/musician/painter named Lasse Åberg, and more specifically his painting titled "Mussaka" (a play on words from "Musse Pigg" -the Swedish name for Mickey Mouse, who is frequently depicted in his paintings- and moussaka).

Yes, customs would be very happy, both here and there. And we'd probably be stuck with import taxes and empty bottles. :)

Hmmm, I must say I am not a big fan of eggplant... (that's used a lot in moussaka, yes?).

Unrelated to moussaka, another thing I dislike is couscous, it just feels wrong in the mouth and doesn't taste much. I'd always replace it with rice or something.

Anyway, today my wife will make siskonmakkarakeitto, mmmm! (translated: "sister's sausage soup"). Basically just a soup of potatoes, carrots, some other vegetables, and certain kind of greasy pork meatballs which you squeeze yourself from a raw sausage when making the soup. But I like the taste, great with black rye bread!

Yes that is kind of a scary name, it could just as well be called "aunt's balls" or something.

When you look for those raw sausages in the supermarket (in order to make the soup), you look for "sister's sausages".
