Something that I miss from Oblivion whenever I play Morrowind, are the npc schedules. Most morrowind npcs are frozen in place compared to oblivion npcs that move around, visit different places on different days, and go to sleep at night. It kind of ruins the immersion a bit for me.

There's a mod for exactly this in Morrowind. I can't remember the name atm though.

JDelekto: You sneaky bastage! You farging ice hole, you just costa me $60 you summon a batch.
I think it will be worth the donation. :)
Klumpen0815: Always a pleasure. :D I think it will be worth the donation. :)
The video was pretty cool. That scene with the devs and artists working together to make a game *they* want to play was pretty touching. One just hopes they'll get to play the game they want to some day. :)

JDelekto: Did you say "future Torment"? Is there a re-make in the works true to the game with updated graphics?
Klumpen0815: Tides of Numenera! Thx thou Klumpen! :-)

And because you can't fly over lava in some of the dungeons, so instead you trudge through it while constantly healing yourself...

I prefer to keep the fwd looking derivative instrument, as such - and yer crafty dinge at my bosom, were it about Morrowind.
But "present Torment" represents, I think, the idea that gaming is loved because the story is compelling.
And back to Morrowind, pray?

Morrowind is my favorite game of all time and definitely Bethesda's best. They haven't nailed writing, world-building and immersion like they did in Morrowind in their subsequent games. Obsidian did a very nice job with New Vegas though.

Wouldn't it be great if you could put all those immersive games together? Imagine flying to some star system, touching down and then getting apprehended, thrown in jail and escaping to finish (or at least progress) some RPG on that planet before making your way back to your ship. Maybe you land on a planet where you're inducted into a Ms. Pac Man competition and you get to play a game within a game. There are so many possibilities.

Rememeber that quest in the Tribunal expansion where you participate in a public stage play which is about some romace story among the Dark Elves? Yeah you probably won't see that in Skyrim.
