Wrong again. GOG didn't upload my new avatar, yet!
Yeah right, see how that excuse works out in court when they catch you.

Wrong again. I didn't have a chance to defend myself in court, let alone learn the details of the case opened against me while i was ignorant; i had consequences from that, plus the restriction to not have access to my case and the jury's investigation results.

I don't defend myself. I am always either on the run, or on the "offensive". Not my choice, but i fare rather well, situation being what it is, i might add; contrary to the wishes of many.

Ah, oh, but you are talking about piracy... Oh, well...

maxkillen: I am trying to run the game as administrator. I have followed the instructions given by GOG to fix this problem; but I still can't LAUNCH the game. I can play the game with the morrowind exe; but that doesn't allow me to use the mods. I can Launch the Morrowind display, and even open the data folder in the Launcher; but when I press the play button I get the insert CD error message
try to use this:
http://openmw.org/en/
you can still mod the game but it will use a modern engine and a different launcher.
Still I don't think it should happen... Gog version is supposed to be drm-free so no cd ask or thing like that.
Stop looking in the stump.

....yes, yes, I'm showing myself out.

LiefLayer: I played Morrowind with OpenMW and I did not get this problem.
Obviously you didn't but most users of the vanilla game didn't either.

I don't understand your reasoning. You don't have to use the launcher to play the game with mods. You can manually add mods in your .ini file and I think the settings you make in the launcher should be saved even if you don't press the play button.

I looked at your new avatar (by moving the mouse cursor over your old one to bring up the menu) and find it to be rather disgusting.

Yeah, i know; a disgusting avatar for a disgusting person whom everybody finds disgusting, as always, since forever... It just fits in! Since people made a monster out of me, i have to act like one too, from time to time, so as to match the description! The monster they created is broken free, dangerous and moving!

Maybe the problem isn't everyone else, but rather you? Maybe the monster wasn't created by other people, but rather, you created the monster in the first place?

We aren't the ones who openly endorse bigotry, intolerance, and piracy so don't give us this "we made a monster out of you" bullshit.

If you ask me that avatar of your should be burning cross; let people know what you are really about the second you log on.

Of course, that doesn't even count a few weeks back when you thanked the Mafia for putting an end to crime. :P

Still trying to get over that one. XD

You Who wished me to never have a wife and children? Really? I still remember that post of yours. As i said, your wish has already been fulfilled since years ago and other people saw to it. Never said it was you. You poor thing cannot take anything else away from me, even assuming you actually had the chance and potential, i have already lost almost everything of real value... Still, as i said, you and here is irrelevant. My tormentors are close distance.

And besides strange bedfellows and temporary alliances some time passes and they have to end. The common enemy i had with a certain group has already lost power locally, so no need to be in friendly terms with said group anymore. And the way of balance dictates that when one group looses power, the "victor" shouldn't be left with too much power in their hands, or else the balance will again be threatened and shifted. "Strategy".

Plus my monday date was ruined by a bad mannered lesbo. Enough of a causus beli for me.

Phew, for a second I thought you were going to ask me to back up everything I said. Fortunately you were nice enough to do it for me. :P

My work here is done. :D

OpenMW is still vanilla Morrowind, OpenMW is not a mod is a new game engine compatible with morrowind.
Still I played vanilla Morrowind with only italian translation and official espansion, no real mods at all.

To me, vanilla means: The game as it was made by the developers.

At the moment, there are a few things that OpenMW does not yet do well and if you are affected by that, you should be able to play your game in its original engine. I try to point as many people as possible to OpenMW but I try my best to inform people about the advantages and disadvantages of using it.

What are those things that OpenMW does not yet do well?

By the way, I am thinking of making myself a new avatar to counterbalance the other user's offensive avatar.
