gog reviews are daft. i've read things like-
i've played this on steam and it was aweseome, therefore gog is even better (because i'm assuming gog's version is identical)

i've even seen rants reviews and reviews responding to rants. i don't know the ins and outs of the review system since it's difficult to source this information but if gog is moderating the reviews, why on earth is gog letting people review games by responding to rant reviews and also reviews based on assumptions?

i want reviews by people who own the game in their library. a rant review is a persons opinion, which i think is generally ok, but to respond to such a review directly makes no sense. ;)

SCPM: Well ratings for now are slightly less transparent. As pointed out by Wormwood Studios on Twitter, GOG game cards no longer show the number of ratings a title has.
I just checked in the dev console... they are still there just hidden. Someone added a "display: none" to the .header_votes class in the CSS. Makes me think it was intentional.

Lemon_Curry: But Chamb promised... *sniff*
Well then, I guess that, since Chamb promised more than three years ago, we should all remain patient...

Why yes, naturally!

At least your man Patience isn't skin and bone...
Just wanted to add that in relation to the scrapped number of reviews that a rating is based on, whether intentional of not, AF also counts the reviews, and provides a total, so one still gets that info.
and add finally a language filter like Steam has, so you don't see chinese, russian or german reviews that are worthless for you!
