jamyskis: Also, journalists. While the Russian legal system largely hinders the proper investigation of these murders, an astonishingly large number of journalists are killed under mysterious circumstances every year, certainly more than in functioning democracies.
First of all, "functioning democracies" currently do not exist at all, perhaps in some wet stinky dreams of Novodvorskaya fans, because true "functioning democracy" existed only in some village in ancient Greece and it actually failed;

second, being journalist does not grant physical immortality, for example UNESCO reported worldwide 5 casualties/day among media workers on average world wide. Not sure whom do you mean by "lesser lethality"?
I don't remember any "west" journalists ever risking their life to make a reportage from the (mostly west-created) warzone, and when they do - they instead hire locals, which are not counted as "west" then, right? (makes sense from corporation liability standpoint). In short, they die less, because they do not risk, preferring fact-rearrangement in a comfy chair.

third, the linked database (Glastnost) is a "foreign agent" (to 100% externally funded non-profit) and merely sums up facts to cover the agenda by cake-slicing. For example, where is Pavel Sheremet? A quick look at the cases shows that these people were media workers, from camera men to reporters which died or were killed for various reasons (from hanging to stabbing by a serial killer) and cases. Many were decorated, some directly by President. Some are known to publish massive amount of fake articles with only goal to manipulate local opinion by fact rearrangements (with help of His Inviolabilitiness Mr. Soros) which usually leads to - yes, civil war.

On that note, I'd like to remind you that your country still denies the very basic rights for refugees from Afghanistan, like:
- basic $2000 monthly payments,
- some immobility properity, like ancient castles
- right for sexual relaxation with young children (gay practice lessons)
- right to worship Allah and follow the path of mujaheddin (car bombers, plane hijackers and other modern-age liberty activism)
- right to beat kafirs
- right to execute their natural leadership (over you, ofc)
Instead, russian propaganda tv reports that the wall is built around them! Has Germany become another DDR and forgot these essential freedoms? Its pretty obvious that you should be sanctioned for that, as Mrs Merkel only offered "tight cooperation" to Trump - and not to poor oppressed refugees. Have you personally done anything yourself? Sure you can adopt 4-10 of them. And hence you refused to sell your cars to russia due to high liberal values, one of refugees would sure adopt few BMWs, for free as a sign of gratitude ofc.

Lin545: whom has russia "dicked" before? Except ISIS.

dtgreene: LGBT Russians. See, for example, the law forbidding "gay propoganda" in any place a child might see it.
All the fact checks show that your claim is false.

You're obviously living under a fucking rock then.

Technically this is correct. I live ON the rock for 12 hours and UNDER the rock for next 12 hours. :)

This is actually great link! Thank you! The russian version of it links to TRACECA.
The russian version of TRACECA mentions that this project is created to divert resources bypassing RF. Funny part is that it was started by Clinton in 1993, when RF was de facto fully dependent on US. Act of "friendly geisture" indeed xD

If I had a vote in South Africa, it would go to Freedom Front Plus or the Inkatha Freedom Party.

I really hope the Volkstaat gets set up successfully in South Africa. I know I am an outsider and I know that there were wrongs prior to mid-1990s in South Africa, but there seems to be quite a bit of blacks and "coloureds" who regret fighting against the apartheid regime.

Besides, South Africa had been fought over by various groups of people before the arrival of European colonists. The Europeans actually raised the standards of living and brought better infrastructure, sciences, and medicines to Africa and life is all about fighting and competing over resources and power. Living things thrive off of the fall of other living things and civilizations are built, expanded, and defended by conquest.

Sadly, Zuma won again. This was expected because the ANC has an extremely strict policy that its members of parliament must vote as ordered and may not even abstain, and as they have a majority it means that Zuma personally controls every decision of Parliament, including this one. I sincerely hope that we never have a majority party again - too much shenanigans. The EFF (the #3 party) will be going to court to demand that a secret ballot must be allowed so that ANC members have a chance to vote against their own leader without repercussion.
Is there ever anything BUT politics on GOG ?!

Yes. Look, in particular, at the game specific forums; politics rarely comes up there.

Also, the occasional topic related to video games (like various game design issues, like the "cardinal sins" topic for example) can be rather interesting without being political.

Exactly.
How have they missed reporters embedding with military units, the many reporters who have been captured and executed by terrorists groups, or the news coverage of violent conflicts that wouldn't happen without reporters being there.

I observed four cases:
- drone/military data, no journalists
- "social media" data, no journalists, unreliable often manipulated
- locally hired journalist, some "Abdul" becomes local CNN reporter, not counted if something happens with him
- (extreme rare case) actual rising journalist, very very rarely leaving military (for good reason)

Recently seen an extreme rare case where a rising journalist took interview from Al Nusra terrorists and came out alive, probably he(his TV group) paid them enough, so that kidnapping did not happen.

Too bad. My condolences. Zuma and the ANC are a good example of how too much power for too long time corrupts. Doesn't mean other parties wouldn't do the same but it means that people like Nelson Mandela who are incorruptible unfortunately happen only rarely. Are people in South Africa smart enough to realize this when there are elections next time?

Damn saw this just now. Good luck with trying to remove what appears to be quite a horrible President.
