Can only guess they were not happy with the sales on GOG with Horizon: Zero Dawn and decided not to continue.

When a DD store sell a game, the deals are made on game to game basis, there cannot be a deal for all and future games . Yes, it is easier sometimes when you already have a deal for a different game, as you already have an agreement and can just copy-paste as long as both parties agree. But, just because a publisher have placed games on gOg before, they still need a new contract / agreement for each game in the future

(and why did you not mention Last of us part I, I would imagine that would be a heavy hitter)

Just my personal theory, but the reason why DRM-free PC ports of Days Gone or God of War haven't arrived on GoG yet, is down to Cyberpunk 2077 and CDPRED not having been able to get it to run properly on the fourth iteration of Sony's playbox.

GoG, by association (CDPRED and GoG are sister companies) was therefore put on some black list as a penalty, off which it apparently hasn't been taken yet.

Seems that way. Just like how Capcom has only two games here, and has subsequently treated GOG like it doesn't exist for many years now.

Sony seems to be following in those footsteps.

Not enough sales to be worth the effort is the most likely reason. Or maybe they found GOG hard to work with for one reason or another.

Capcom loves DRM. Not trying to go off topic , but I know HZD and Days Gone are both 100% DRM free on another store.

I would love to see more Sony games here...

... but my guess (like some others here) is there just aren't enough sales via GOG for Sony to keep bringing future titles here. They brought one here to test the waters... and that was sadly that. *sigh*

It's always possible. Sony clearly wants more $ than from PlayStation alone. And someone needs to fight Microsoft's take over the gaming world gamepass strategy.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Elder Scrolls 6. Perhaps they will be bold enough to make it a MS store exclusive by that time.

Returnal was released for Windows only yesterday. Everything else is a 2022 Windows release. To get an idea how things work around here, look how long it took Square Enix to release Tomb Raider GOTY here -- and they still don't deign to publish the latest installments on GOG. Or take for instance Skyrim, or the Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War games.

Horizon Zero Dawn is atypical as a big title that made it over here in a little under 4 months after (the WIndows) release.

I'm betting we'll get "Days Gone" next as it hasn't done well in general so they need to recoup costs. It would be nice to see the last "God Of War" on GOG as it's been on PC for a while.

Also I'd like to see Atlus stuff, even old Persona and stuff they have NEVER released in the US would be great, even if not translated into English. I mean what DRM Free Japanese storefronts that exist are even comparable to GOG?

edit: I could see "Gravity Rush" getting a release on PC one day but both of those games need a special port to....if not keep the features on PS4 and Vita, act similarly to it.

That is likely it. Extremely frustrating as the lack of AAA games lowers interest in GOG, thus making it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Maybe some day! But GOG has never gotten many AAA games, so - while unfortunate - this isn't anything new.
