yyahoo: Yeah, I can understand waiting for a big sale (cheapskate that I am), but to call a $6 game too expensive is just, IMHO, wackadoo.
its not the price, its the principal. For product from the 1990s I feel the games should be cheaper at base price. I do not have a problem spending money on games having just dropped 40 bucks on two new deeply discounted games, with a ton more coding, graphics etc and work. I feel they (Lucas Arts) are holding the reins a bit tight for their product name only.

However, that is my opinion and to all who buy, enjoy! cheers

It's just about the cheapest standard base price in the entire digital distribution industry. You'll find some less than that, but they're few and far between. The base prices have to be set at a level to leave room for a steep discount sale occasionally. A lot of these $6 games end up selling for $1.50 or so when that happens. Heck, I've got no problem with these games having a base price of $10 as long as the occasional sale pushes them down to $2.50. That said, I'm skeptical we'll get a discount that high on any of the Disney titles, so $6 feels just about right. But, to each their own.
and now I wait for discount for a whole package to put myself to the coffin for the rest of 2015 :))

Well, you're paying for GOG at least setting the game into DOSBox and testing it on a variety of machines, going a little beyond (and sometimes a lot beyond) what other distributors do.

Now I don't understand how GOG justifies Toonstruck being $10 - I may ask about that - but $6 feels right to me. (Doom is still sold for $5 on Steam anyway.)
how sad - OUTLAWS without soundtrack - ennio morricone look alike soundtrack was half of why the game was good - the other half was because the game WAS good - superb....
Outlaws... now that brings back memories I never thought I'd get a change to dig up again. Thanks GOG.

Now how about Jedi Knight II and Jedi Academy?

It's probably amongst the game files. Not that it wouldn't be nice to have the official disk as bonus content, but better than nothing.

Sorry GOG/Disney, will not be purchasing any more LucasArts titles until Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis gets fixed.

You do know that we don't set the prices, right? I believe this has been publicly stated before :)

I guess he is referring to lossy audio?

On the German Steam store, Doom and Doom II are 10€ each, for some reason.

And personally, I think that Toonstruck is totally worth that price.

That's because Bethesda hasn't bothered updating the prices. Funny thing is that the Doom Classic Complete package is priced correctly ($/€ 15).

Yes, that is exactly it. The fact that the audio file has a modified date of 2005 makes it obvious it was just slapped together from some old download someone had lying around.

And yes I wrote support, got some boilerplate reply about rights issues, which is ridiculous.
