Hello buddies, how you doing?

Well, I'm here to share a moral dilemma. A month ago I upgraded my PC and now I can run several games that I couldn't play before. New GPU, new CPU and so on.

Because of this now I want to take my PC to its limit, and one of the most powerful games out there is The Witcher 3, this is not a secret, but there is a problem.

When the game came out I bought the PS4 version, the collectors edition in fact, with its Figurine, its season pass and, of course, the game, and it wasn't cheap.

Now, I want to play it on my brand new PC, but the GOTY version here in GOG costs 49.99 €, which is a fair price related to its content, but to me it would sum up to its PS4 version, so the money invested in this game would raise to 200 €, which is a lot.

So, with this situation, I am thinking of downloading it from our favourite bay on the internet, play it now and, when its price is fair to me, such as, 20€ for the GOTY version, buying it.

What do you think? I haven't downloaded it yet, I'm just thinking on it.

Rockstar earned enough (more that 3 billion dollars and counting).

On winter sale buy Witcher 3 here. My 2 cents. :)

I really, REALLY, don't understand people who have the money for a computer powerful enough to run a game, but then claim to have no money for the game itself. Especially if they are from countries where games are generally strikingly cheaper than normal.

Can you sell your PS4 version? Why not do that, you have already played it I assume and then wait until Christmas sale to purchase GOTY here on GOG?

If you don't want to buy the same game at full price twice, just buy another "powerful" game, there are many others. Meanwhile you wait for a nice discount.

Yeah. I really don't like Rockstar and theirs practices (microtransactions, ban waves, forcing people to grind or to pay to fully enjoy online, no reasonable discounts).
Oh, and one more thing: they already earned 3 Billion dollars. Billions.

I'm not going to be pretend to be ethical and PCs like these people. You do what you want to do. Although by disclosing it, you may be trying to validate your action and make yourself feel better about stealing (if you decides to). Also it open up for getting caught, not that CD Projekt can do shit to you when you're in Russia. Worst case is GOG suspending your account, but I they would need proof and there are legal matters I'm not expert at.

Anyway, I got the GOTY version for $30 recently, so just keep a watch out for the price to go down.

Also, if you really want a game to test your rig's performance, you should look at Deus Ex - Mankind Divided, which is a rip off half finished game. The thing is the game is so poorly optimized that it run poorly even on very high end rigs.
