I never read the Wheel of Time, so all I've got to go by is the trailer itself, and it just looked terribly boring and generic to me. It gave me absoltuely no sense of any unique identity of this compared to any other fantasy series in recent time. I feel like I could randomly edit together the trailers for this, the Witcher, Shadow and Bone, and it wouldn't show.

Yeah, the trailer has some strong Shannara Chronicles vibe.

Yeah they made Egwene black, which as a redhead girl lover I find this the worst. They don't have the balls to make Rand or Mat black.

I don't think so either, but it's just become everyone's headcanon, I think because the stereotypically Celtic sounding name and her character (fiery woman) type makes you think of a redhead

Egwene... i'm not so sure anymore, I belief Nyneave had the most stunning long black hair, Rand's little princess had blond hair for sure.... Egwene was a redhead btw, right with her temper .... i know i know , its a tremendous amount of work just to read all parts
