Goodaltgamer: Was only trying to help you make some good educated buying decisions ;)
And EU -series are lovely games.
And thank you for that! (I hope I've not messed up my words before, I have sometimes troubles with writing in English. If so, I apologize.)

On the EU, I have also CK II with some datadisks, but comparing to EU, EU suits me better somehow. I don't know exactly why.

MaxFulvus: I guess you speak about Postal 2 ? It's the more refreshing FPS I ever played, full of dark humor and stupid situations. You can play it as a mass-murderer or as a normal guy who is trying to survive to the inhabitants of a crazy town, but the first choice is more fun. I found Carmageddon boring because I never knew if I have to kill people or win the races (and the controls were awful) but you always have something to do in Postal 2.
Be aware that the Paradise Lost expansion is still unavailable on GOG and I doubt it will be one day, sadly...
Ahah, well.... No, I was talking of the first one XD Sorry for the confusion ^^"
I remember playing the second one some hours something like... woaow, easily 12 years ago ? (it was certainly when it went out) But I don't know, it didn't really caught my interest : it was a bit too violent and vulgar to my taste ^^" (or in a way I don't really liked if you prefer)
I'll still consider it again with your positive opinion, I'll watch some let's play to see if it still doesn't seems to attract me like before.
The first one seems to have a very different spirit and looks interesting, a bit like first GTA or Carmageddon, but in those two games, things were done with humor, first postal... well, I'm wondering if there is this feel of humour (which I like), or if this is simply "shooting innocent people and being mainly serious" (which I wouldn't like).
Thanks for your opinion still :)

There is little to no humour in the first Postal.

I already own this from some bundle or so and never checked it out. In fact, I wrote it off as something I probably wouldn't want to play ever. But I don't really understand what kind of game it is. Is it a flight and/or business sim game? An arcade shooter? What's so great about it?

I'd compare it to Operation Inner Space. It's a space fighting semi-twin stick newtonian physics shooter.

What's great about it...

Laced with comedy (usually subtle)
Great music
Gameplay is solid
You customize and build your own ships (after the tutorial, although you can skip it if you really want to)
Tons of ships and equipment to customize with and open to tons of play styles
Multiplayer (if you want it, specific modes, not in the campaign)
Long and good story of escaping and making your own your way through the galaxy as well as to find out who/what you are (a bit of a trip)

There's probably more, although i have my review of it...

edit: Glancing at my review I comment in the first few missions (within 20 minutes) you'll know if it's your kind of game. Probably when you're being chased and you have to fight off waves of enemies (I fought off 20 waves before succumbing to my DOOM :P )

rtcvb32:
If it's mostly an action game, and with story on top of it, I guess I should at least give it a shot, thanks!
How is 'Divinity: Dragon Commander'

I can't decide wether to love the genre mash-up or to hate it. :/
Oppinions on this title please? :)

The story will heavily dictate what TYPE of action is going on, and of course your own choices (do you wait in line or blow up everyone in the line? Do I do my minimal tasks in this town or help one side win against the other? etc)

Hmmm... Then there's the safe / space flail...

Either you'll find you love the game or don't care for it. I loved it :)

This one's a mixed bag...

I really like the idea of being a commander in an RTS, I also like more the idea of changing the tide of battle by flying in as a dragon. However the two don't mix well.

I WISH that the game allowed for the RTS to sorta play out normally and you compliment the forces, but instead you have to do the full RTS yourself. In a mission where I had an 80% chance success I utterly failed because none of your army does anything unless you specifically tell them to (and being a dragon means you can't give them good orders). This means you're much better off auto-resolving and playing the game as a boardgame and losing half the game, which doesn't sound that fun to me.

What are some people's thoughts about Card City Nights? What are the weak points of the game? (For the price, I don't really care if its a bit short -- so much the better, actually, as I might actually finish it then. :) )
