Can someone help me with a mod please?

I have never used one before and need help with it.

I downloaded a mod for command and conquer 3 called tiberium essence and have no clue how to make it work.

I did everything people said to do, patch it to 1.9, make a mods folder, extract the files to it and the mod still does not work.

Can someone help me please?

Gottcha....not sure if that youtbe will help or not I linked, it's worth a look though...Good Luck

I done some successful modding in the past, but probably had as many failures as successes, so I am no expert by any means. Give your thread a little time for other folks to see it, and maybe "bump" it once or twice over the next day or two, and someone more qualified might be able to help

One piece of advice I *can* give, is to back up (as in copy your whole game installation file, and saves if applicable, somewhere safe) before trying your modding activities. This way, if you screw up, you can just delete (or unistall) that installation, or the files involved, and start fresh by replacing with your back-up. This will just save you from having to reinstall the whole thing all over again, and lose saves. The saves part is questionable, because often, mods don't work with older saves anyway many times, depending on what is modded.
