OldOldGamer: I could have received TW3, that I don t care about, while I could got Pool of Radiance beeing very happy.
No you couldn't, because neither of them are on the list of mystery games.
For more educated gambling next time, I suggest looking at the possible outcomes and doing the math before buying.
The list is here: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/big_winter_sale_mystery_games/post1

tinyE: I'm going to get killed for this, but no one is forcing anyone to get these mystery games so can we all just put down the fucking violins?

If someone shows me the part of the sales description where all participants are guaranteed to get a game that will blow their fucking mind, make them shit their pants, and orgasm all at the same time, then I will apologize for the above and never speak on the matter again.

PaterAlf: ^ this

But I have to admit that it always confuses me when tinyE is the voice of reason. ;-)

This thread made my day. Thanks guys!
The best Christmas I ever had was when all the gifts were mystery gifts. It was kind of like a raffle, and when your number was called you could either take and open a new mystery present (everyone attending had to bring one $5-$10 ish wrapped present) or take someone elses, who then have to open a new present. It was hilarious, because there were one or two really cool presents, and people were trying all sorts of tricks to get their hands on the good presents. I think I got neon coloured plastic coasters at one point, which I exchanged for somebody's LED flashlight.

It would be tough to implement, but imagine how fun it could be if something like that was implemented with gog/steam games in some sort of online lobby with 100 participants, and where anyone could be an observer.

WBGhiro: I don't know why people complain i got The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid V, a PS4 and a hot lady makes me coffee every morning. For 12 bucks it's a steal.
You might want to look up others things to do with hot ladies, as coffee is pretty low on the list.

Whats the point in looking at the list and loosing the mistery factor?
Also, most important, then you can t complain.
Or you could?

Well, doesn t matter.

Looking at the list doesn't tell you exactly which game you'll get. And it that list has one or more games you're not interested in and you end up with on of them, there's nth stopping you from complaining! :-)
