So, I've give GOG another chance to redeem itself with this "myster xxxx" that they comeup with.

I've bought two games, and I ended up with Brutal Legends and A golden Wake.

4£ thrown in the bin.

Can I ask refund for these?
I don't think you can ask for a refund. Otherwise everyone would just try their luck and gamble for free until they got the more expensive games.
Whats the problem? They seem to cost 14 Euro each.

In the past GOG let users refund games which they haven't downloaded yet in the first 30 days after purchase. I think that policy is still in pace.

If that's true I shouldn't have downloaded Apotheon..

Possibly, if you haven't downloaded it, but the way I see it that wouldn't be fair. You knew what you were doing and the risks involved. Next time just buy the discounted games you know, or accept the consquences of buying unknow games.

I don't care about how they are worth "on the market". I care I much I want to play them.
At the moment is 0£.

Yeah, I imagine they will not give refund for games you don't like.

I was just ranting about how bad are these mystery games.

I've bought 8/10 of these across different sales, and always ended up with games that I don't like at all.

Well, I suppose I should stop shelling money randomly.
My fault.
From the GOG User Agreement
6.7 d) Withdrawal Right: we give you the right to withdraw from a purchase of GOG content without charge and for any reason within 30 days after you bought that GOG content, IF it has not been downloaded, streamed, activated or used in any way before then. If any of those things happen then your withdrawal right is lost.

I totally agree, this is why I don't ever do the mystery thing , but it is my own problem, not gogs fault. My problem is that I only like a handful of genres (basically only strategy) and the chance to end up with some adventure or jumpnrun is very high.
Misery game?

This doesn't apply to mystery promos. There was a blue post to this effect.

edit: You can get a refund if you got an alternate edition of a game you already have on GOG.

Strangely enough, me and my buddy received a copy of Another World each after purchasing that "mystery" game. 'Tis a rather strange coincidence.

I'm going to get killed for this, but no one is forcing anyone to get these mystery games so can we all just put down the fucking violins?

If someone shows me the part of the sales description where all participants are guaranteed to get a game that will blow their fucking mind, make them shit their pants, and orgasm all at the same time, then I will apologize for the above and never speak on the matter again.

Was there? Because the FAQ states otherwise [emphasis added]:
8) How do refunds work during the sale?
All of your purchases are refundable per our refund policy (you can find it here). If a refund takes your total back under a reward tier, we reserve the right to remove the game from your GOG.com account.
