Fever_Discordia: Frictional Games
Penumbra series (Frictional) (Were on GOG, removed 2014-09-01)
avatar
Grargar: Penumbra has returned to GOG. You can remove this section if you want.
Yep, good catch, removed (and fudged the changes section to make it look like I was on the ball back on the 4th!)
Thanks!

You forgot to remove "Frictional Games" from the list. :P

Doh ho!
I think I must have done a copy for the changes out of paranoia that something would cock up and I'd loose the text and then forgot that I HADN'T done a cut!
Fixed now, thanks

Fever_Discordia: Elven Legacy series (1C Company)
Should Elven Legacy be considered a different series? 1C themselves are calling the game a sequel to Fantasy Wars.

I've asked Damien about this
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/completionists_list_of_missing_games_from_gog_series/post588
As its seems silly to have the series fall 'between two stools' and not appear on either list - his call I guess!

OK Damien added it over there so I've removed it here
Thanks for that!
Finally updated the 1C section for the release of Space Rangers back on tuesday
Strategy First seems to have a game called Hunters Of The Dead on Steam

Wow a game from Strat First that people actually seem to LIKE? How rum!
Added, thanks
Just ticked off 'Do a KISS Ltd. section' from my mental To Do list, mainly so I could move Gold Rush to it from Activation.
I THINK The book of The 39 Steps that the game is based on is out of copyright and that there's no aircraft licensing issues with Eurofighter Typhoon or real world team licensing in (International) Cricket Captain so I went ahead adn included all 3 but let me know if you know more (also, as always, let me know if I've done something silly like include an early access game or something that GOG does, actually have in its library)

Glacier (racer) series was an odd one - Glacier 3 is on Steam from KISS, the original Glacier Racer seems to be with Strat First but only on their own website, not on Steam and I couldn't find any conclusive evidence that the second one even exists - the dev's own site
http://web.team6-games.com/games/museum/
Even misses it out and the first one is listed as released in 2009 and the '3rd' in 2010!

Anyways - enjoy!
Whoa I just realised that, now that Nordic have taken the AquaNox games away, that I should add 'Archimedian Dynasty' under Ubisoft - how odd!

What about the Metro series from Deep Silver?

Based on a book IIRC
"Metro is a series of games based on the novel Metro 2033 and its sequels written by the Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky."
- harsh but fair!

In other news I just added a Night Dive section for adding 'Strife' to

Shouldn't you then remove the Tron games from the list? They are based on the movie, after all.

Yeah but Disney owns the Tron movies and the Tron games so I don't consider it 'external IP' - As far as anyone can tell they wouldn't have had to go to any external company and pay to license anything, Deep Silver doesn't own the Metro book rights, as far as I know, sorry if that seems a bit contentious...

I have this other thread here:
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/external_ip_games_that_are_on_gog
Which might make things clearer... or.. more confusing, not sure which really!
