Not entirely sure but I think that the Full Tilt! Pinball series can be added to the EA section (the games were developed by Cinematronics for Maxis, then Maxis bought the company and now Maxis is owned by EA).

Maybe you never heard of the games but probably you have played them, or some part of them. The Space Cadet table included in Windows was from the first Full Tilt! game.

Deep Silver has some interesting games. I wonder if they could bring any of the "X" games; Wikipedia lists a variety of publishers so I don't know how that works out.

The first X is on Steam published by Egosoft but has Deep Silver mentioned in the video that plays.

Yeah, EgoSoft are both the dev and the publisher these day - I guess they used some other people for distribution before DD was big but it looks like they've kept hold of the rights!

Interesting to see that even when a company has full creative over its own IP and isn't being dictated to by a greedy corp like EA it can still make a huge balls up of it (I hear Rebirth is pretty bad)

But yeah, I'd say X series was EgoSoft and only EgoSoft these days...

Well I tweeted and facebooked them. They don't provide any contact info. I suspect GOG already tried to make contact and DRM-free makes their pee-pee hurt so they didn't want to come aboard.

The first one is apparently DRM free on GamersGate:

Hmm, maybe. Though at 4.99 it can't be that much more, lol. Or maybe there are compatibility issues. *wonders about nGlide*

Egosoft was always pretty good about removing the copy protection from their games after a period of time (unlike some companies *cough* Bioshock *cough*. I bought the X Superbox off GG and none of the games had any protection.

*sigh* I miss the Space Cadet table from WinXP!

In other news I've removed Obscure from Anuman as its on Steam now with a new publisher, I wrote this in changes:

Removed "ObsCure (formerly on GOG, removed 2010-01-15)(Microids - Anuman)" as it was re-added to Steam under another publisher who GOG has no history with

and yes I'll have to sort something out for Deep Silver...

Note that AFAIK the Metro games are licensed from a novel (series of novels?) so I couldn't include them!
