jonwil: I would like to suggest that Sentinel Worlds: Future Magic be added to the list under "Electronic Arts"
Wikipedia (and my childhood memories of the box and game) indicate that it was published by EA (who are already releasing titles on GoG) so there shouldn't be any issue with it being released here.
Plus, its a really fun game to play for those who like sci-fi RPGs (its takes a lot of gameplay ideas from The Bards Tale type games)

There is also a game called Hard Nova that is supposedly a sequel to Sentinel Worlds in some form. Never played it but Wikipedia says its also an EA title.
Yep, they both check out fine, added them as separate entries under EA - thanks

damien: Activision: Wizard & Warriors
EA: The Neverhood
Hasbro: Majesty series
Square Enix: Flashback series
Ubisoft: Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor

Dark Sun series, Eye of the Beholder series: Couldn't figure out the right holder :)
OK added Wizards & Warriors and The Neverhood just how you said, The Majesty series, including a HD remake of the 1st one is on sale on Steam with Paradox as the publisher but looking into it, the 1C Company also had enough involvement (some of it was originally published by them, the 2nd one is developed by one of their studios, they're on sale on the 1C website) that I decided to put it under them because GOG doesn't have Paradox, might move it if they do get them later though

As I said before, already had Flashback and the D&D games count as licensed from the table top RPG IP from Wizards of the Coast / Hasbro
Thanks

how about Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor? or do you think it has the same status as Dark Sun series etc?

Yeah, a Ubisoft published game based on D&D IP counts as licensed
Unless it turned up on Steam with 'Hasbro' listed as publisher or something it can't go on
Thanks

*edit* this one would be interesting for your list if it turned up because its part of the Pool of Radiance series (along with a lot of the gold box games like Curse of the Azure Bonds) but not really a Gold Box game itself so you'd have the choice of leaving off the Gold box games that aren't part of the Pool of Radiance continuity, I guess!

Checked the Telltale list against the Gamer's Gate sale and added 3 series that I'm pretty sure are original and not licensed but realised that, of course Strong Bad is a licensed property of the good people at HomeStarRunner.com and removed it - not sure what I was thinking, must have been tired!

Also added the new one from Daedalic that's up on Steam - hopefully that one won't be on my list for long...
Just synced up my list with tfishell's quest for game rights thread
http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_search_for_game_rights_a_diaryesque_thread
Their thread is cooler than mine because they actually go and ask old devs and execs stuff rather than just making lists like some kind of OCD shut-in
Big thanks to them!
Went through and added (non-licensed, as far as I could tell) Strategy First games that are on sale on Steam and not here, looking through there's some obscure, niche, indie stuff there and, checking with Mobygames, the publishing rights to a lot of them have changed hands but they all fit the rules and there's no better way to convince me that you hold the publishing rights to a game than be listed as the current publisher on Steam!

Also remove 'Silent Hunter' series as I noticed that Silent Hunter 2 is being sold by GOG!

*edit* Synced 1C Company with Steam too now
Didn't include Off-Road Drive, the cars are made up but the championships and trophies seem to be real world, from, like Russia and Thai Land so just about licensed, I... guess

*edit*
Activision too now, wasn't much that wasn't licenesed or CoD, GUN was the most significant addition (having added Prototype previously)
Couldn't make out if 'Aces of the Galaxy' was supposed to be a continuation of the Sierra 'Aces' series, they used the Sierra name on XBLA originally, apparently but its an arcade rail shooter so lets pretend it isn't even if it is!

*edit*
Didn't seem to be anything from Steam to add to Anuman, have done Capcom too now - turns out that Capcom have deemed to bring more of their stuff to PC recently than I'd realised - yay!

*edit*
OK done Codemasters now, I was seriously in 2 minds about Operation Flashpoint series but in the end I decided that it's split from ArmA and become its own IP, just a very weird situation with that whole dealie, I think its pretty unprecedented
Also Clive Barker's Jericho is one of those, like Tom Clancy's Whatever that comes SO close to me considering it licensed but somehow not quite, I can see that others might have called it the other way, definitely!

*edit* all of one to add to Cyan - Spelunx and the Caves of Mr. Seudo and none for Daedalic, those guys seem pretty good and having all their stuff on GOG too! None for Double Fine either as Iron Brigade was published by MS, suppose I COULD add that 'Amnesia Weekend' prototype thing but nah new rule - proper, finished games only!

*edit* dotemu stuff is on dotemu, not Steam, unsurprisingly
Synced EA, had most of it already, nothing to add from Epic or Frogwares once I realised that 'World of Battles was a F2P MMO, added a rule to say none of that sort of thing to the top of the first post
Nothing more to add until I got down to Interplay who had put their name to a couple of indies

*edit* Quite a few added to Kalypso, gosh Kalypso, Strategy First, 1C Company and Paradox seem to swap rights around like pass the parcel! Right Synced Nordic (didn't include The Raven because chapters are still being 'unlocked' so it doesn't count as properly finished) going bed!

OK Today I've synced the Square Enix/Eidos section with what's available on Steam, there's quite a few casual games that I've sure GOG wouldn't be interested in but I've included them anyway because trying to define 'casual' could get messy and include things like Worms, Lemmings and Boulder Dash
Powermonger ? (Bullfrog / EA)

Huff: Powermonger ? (Bullfrog / EA)
Look again - its already on there!
Poker Night at the Inventory isn't considered licensed?

Oh yeah - checking now it turns out that that one is licensed up the wazoo, Penny Arcade, Sam and Max, Team Fortress AND Homestar Runner!

Removed - thanks for spotting!

*edit* However it did have a prequel called "Telltale Texas Hold'em" that only used original characters so I've added that one to the list!

Added a new 'Focus Home Interactive' section and synced it with Steam - some interesting looking RPG stuff in there and a couple of adventures too!
Ubisoft (Blue Byte)
Extreme Assault
Game, Net & Match!

Stardock
Elemental series
Removed "Legend of Kyrandia Series (Westwood - EA)" and added it to the change log
Yay!
