Great looking trailer with some very well done sound. It looks like it could be in the same universe as Deus Ex Human Revolution. Sadly, I reeeeeeally didn't like the first game.
Won't come to GoG anyway.
I hope all those delays meant the game got more polish in the plot and control department, and not towards multiplayer.

Not to say every game suffered because of that - look at Portal 2! - but it's not something I would really want from this kind of a game.
I had a pleasure to hear the trailer yesterday. While speaking on Skype with a friend, who was sitting in Birmingham, he says "Hey, I wonder if there's new trailer for Mirror's Edge released. WOOOOAH! There is! Released 13 minutes ago! You wanna listen?" "Yeah, sure."

So even though I didn't see it yet, just listening to this trailer gave shivers. I could feel how intense the story should be. Game must be amazing.

Narakir: It looks like an average Hollywood movie trailer, why can't they be more confident in showing us the gameplay ?
cause all da vidiya games want to be movies
all the developers actually want to be movie directors
and gamers want a "cinematic "experience

...obviously
Aside from being slightly concerned that the plot looks much more complex than ME's wonderful minimalist approach, the big problem with this trailer is the lack of Still Alive.

off course there wil be multiplayer
even if the game doesnt need it there wil be multiplayer
how else are they gonna suck up all that sweet sweet microtransaction cash ?

and EA admitted themselves a few years ago that all their games will come with a multiplayer module bolted o whether it needs it or not

Like anyone thought so either, but I was more wondering whether it will appear on Steam at all? Maybe not, only EA Origin. Fine by me.

The gameplay trailer looked good enough and I though the first game was quite ok, so wishlisted. Maybe on some sale.

most likely not
EA threw a hissy fit a while ago and took all their toys to the origin pram

the last new EA game on steam was mass effect 2 i think

3 is origin only

yeah ive already been told

i own that bloody game twice and i dont even remember that song
Have to say, not a fan of how much angst is in the trailer. The emotional looks. The "I'm not broken" that sounds on the cusp of tears. Then again, I've left the first game unplayed for some reason, so maybe that's just how the series is? Or maybe I just lack the requisite attachment to the main character that comes from having played it.

I've thought the same of trailers for some games I genuinely enjoyed, so hopefully this is one of those occasions.
