Looks like the Japanese came out on the lesser end of that deal. No Contra game. At least the Western version comes with Super C.
Wow, it's so cool. Thanks for the info :)
I have to say that the Mini Famicom looks nice. Aside from Final Fantasy I vs III, I really wouldn't change the Mini NES lineup.

Mini Famicom have Super Contra. snowkatt only list 29 games here.
I compared the lists when I saw the news.
Both versions have 6 unique games. Other 24 games are the same.

UPDATE:
The source says it is 8 exclusive games for each version.

I guess when I compared the lists, one of the news listed wrong games. :-P

I noticed. And ars technica only lists 29 games instead of 30. Which is why they can't be trusted. :)
Trust but verify.

The video they link to does mention super c. So either someone was careless or they really hate the game. :P
I remember having the bigger one when I was six.

It was my first game console ever. I played it for 10 hours a week.

It worked fine for 6 long years. Even after accidentally dropping it from 5 feet above the ground, spilling orange juice and water, and sitting on it. It was very durable.

Nostalgia

I'm going for careless as Super C wasn't too bad as sequels go. In fact, I don't think I've ever played a BAD Contra game, and I'm speaking as someone who owned and loved playing Contra Force.
