mqstout: Huh. Sale has Simulacra 2 but not Simulacra 1.
And a few weird inclusions, like Lands of Lore and Stonekeep. I guess Stonekeep "technically" has a FMV intro... But
I would rather not support this publisher/dev. They promised us to release Pipe Dreams (which is free on Steam and part of the Simulacra franchise) on GOG (they actually posted in this very forum) and then released another game (Dr Who) and completely broke their promise - I asked them many times on discord and got ignored in the end). Since I like to support devs/publisher who stay true to their word Simulacra 2 (which I only bought because of said promise) was the last game I purchased from them and as long as they don't fulfill their promise it will remain this way.
WinterSnowfall: Call me an oddball, but I never liked FMV games... I'd rather watch a movie or have sprites on my PC screen. The only FMV game I ever bothered to finish was "Mad Dog McCree II - The Lost Gold", and most of it annoyed me beyond all reason due to its idiotic QTE timings.
I doubt you are an oddball because of this ... there's a reason why FMV failed in the end but for some it still is an interesting way to make movies (which in most cases are not even B-movie class as we all know) more interactive. FMV games tried to get you with big actors in some cases but gameplay in most cases was mainly absent. The Tex Murphy games are one of the few exceptions that did FMV right by not omitting gameplay and still give you that movie feeling. Also, Chris Jones IS Tex Murphy ;)
